The pole shall consist of sound, defect-free cast-iron ornamental components reinforced with suitably designed structural M.S. members and shall include 48 mm outside-diameter M.S. bracket arms, 60 mm outside-diameter central support pipe, 125 mm and 140 mm pole-shaft outside diameters at the locations shown in the approved drawing, and an approximately 410 mm diameter decorative base. All load-bearing members, wall thicknesses, welds, base plate, access opening and connections shall be designed for the applicable wind load and complete luminaire and logo load, supported by approved structural calculations and shop drawings. The pole shall include a weather-protected lockable service door, terminal plate, cable entry, earthing stud, minimum 3-core x 2.5 sq. mm FRLS copper internal wiring, IP65 terminal enclosure, 6 A double-pole MCB, surge-protection device, earthing conductor, cable glands, lugs and ferrules. The item shall include excavation and an approximately 1,000 mm x 1,000 mm x 2,000 mm deep RCC foundation, subject to soil conditions and approved design, with minimum M25 concrete, reinforcement as detailed, four Nos. 20 mm diameter x 900 mm long foundation bolts with template, base plate, levelling, non-shrink grouting, erection, plumbing, curing, backfilling and disposal of surplus material. All surfaces shall be cleaned and mechanically prepared and finished with epoxy primer, epoxy top coat, approved antique-finish coat and exterior-grade polyurethane protective lacquer coat in the approved colour. The complete pole shall be free from casting and fabrication defects and shall include weather-resistant fasteners, anti-corrosion treatment, structural stability and wind-load certificate and all labour, materials and accessories necessary for complete installation, as per the approved drawing, sample and final structural design. |
