| 1 | Sprinkling of water by carrying 10 KL of water in each trip using Mechanically Operated Water Tanker to sprinkle water over the road during operation time and firmly fixed 100mm (4\\") dia slotted pipe at rear end for sprinkling of water over roads & the designted area in 2(Two) shifts i.e. 16 Hours (06:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M.) as & when required inside & outside Harbour area on trips basis including deployment of water tankers, drivers, cleaners/helpers, fuel, lubricants, cost of pump set, operation & maintenance, all taxes, T&P, Port entry fees etc. with following specifications /conditions but excluuding cost of water & GST and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (Considering requirement of sprinkling for a period of 340 days in a year and @65 trips / day).N.B: The agency must install Global Positioning System (GPS)-Vehicle Tracker in the tanker including hosepipe nozzle system.(a)Water will be provided from different water vats/sources located inside/outside the Port area free of cost.(b)Water Tanker must have approved fitness, Regd. Certificate, insurance etc. and should be in good running condition.(c)All tanker Drivers must have their own valid Driving License.(d)Minimum 6(Six) Nos. of Tankers are to be deploed including one tanker for standby purpose. Out of 6(Six) Tankers; one tanker must have installed with a 3HP diesel pump at rear side of tanker with suitable hose pipe, nozzle system & above capacity Diesel Pump and having at least 15m. of suction and delivery pipes.(e)Required capacity water pumps are to be installed by the firm near water vats in order to fill the tankers quickly. All expenses are to be borne by the firm. (f) Drivers, Helpers/Cleaners & experienced Supervisors for monitoring the work are to be deployed by the firm on shift wise. All expenses are to be borne by the firm. (g) For petty maintenance, repair of pump set; one Pump Mechanic having knowledge about repair/maintenance of Pump is to be deployed at site.
