| 1 | Note:- Removal of existing unserviceable steel components of various MES furniture items or similar items, carefully dismantling the same without disturbing or damaging the adjoining serviceable parts, and providing and fixing new components in lieu of the dismantled components, including necessary cutting, drilling, fitting, alignment and tightening of joints, pinning, screwing, nailing, welding, gluing, providing and fixing hinges, wherever required, and reassembling the furniture by placing all components/parts in their proper position, complete. The work shall also include making good the disturbed surfaces and applying matching paint to the affected portions, wherever required, after properly cleaning, rubbing and smoothening the surfaces with sand paper, complete all as specified and directed.The work shall be executed at various locations where the furniture is installed in different User Units under GE Haddo, including BSO's Furniture Yard at Haddo, during office hours only, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note: The above provisions shall be applicable to Item Serial Nos. 1.01 to 25.03. |
