Name of Work:- PROVN OF SECURITY INFRASTRUCTURE IN VARIOUS POCKETS IN NAGROTA UNDER GE (P) NAGROTA
Sl. No. Item Description
1Earth work in excavation by mechanical means Hydraulic excavator)/ in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5m, including getting out in all kind of soil (the excavated soil) and disposal of surplus excavated soil, within a lead of 50m complete all as specified and directed.
2Earth work in excavation by in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto exceeding 1.50m to 3m, including getting out in all kind of soil (the excavated soil) and disposal of surplus excavated soil, within a lead of 50m complete all as specified and directed.Note:- Contractor may at his discretion use any means for excavation and width required at site. However payment shall be made for authorized width only as defined in preamble para 3.2.3 to section 3 of MES SSR Part-II.
3Plain cement concrete type D-2, (1:4:8) using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.
4Reinforced cement concrete M-30 (Design mix) using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates as in foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams; plinth beams; bases for columns etc; basement slabs, under-reamed piles and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.
5Reinforced cement concrete M-30 (Design Mix) using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in columns, pillars, piers, posts and struts, complete all as specified and directed.
6Reinforced cement concrete M-30 (Design Mix) using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in beams, cantilevers, bressummers, lintels over 1.5m span, complete all as specified and directed.
7Formwork to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams and similar work; vertical or to batter for rough finished surfaces of concrete flat, complete all as specified.
8Formwork to sides and soffits of floor or roof beams, beam haunchings, girders, bressummers, lintels, cantilevers, shelves including sup- ports, overhangs, etc. also splays between floors and beams etc. for rough finished surface of concrete flat complete all as specified and directed.
9Formwork to sides of pillars, posts, struts, piers, columns and stanchions for rough finished surfaces of concrete square, rectangular or polygonal complete all as specified and directed.
10Brick work with subclass \\"B\\" brick using old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.
11Rendering 10mm thick on fair faces of new brick work or reinforcement concrete surface in cement mortar (1:4) finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.
12Rendering 15mm thick on other than fair faces of new brick work in cement mortar (1:4) finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.
13Preparation of newly plastered or unplastered surface of wall or concrete over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of cement base paint over a coat of alkali resistant priming paint complete all as specified and directed.
14Plain cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-1, using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate, as in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps, seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, coping, benching, kerb, benching, bed plates and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating including necessary form work, complete all as specified.
15Returning, filling in any kind of soil, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm complete all as specified and directed.
16Removing excavated material (soil) exceeding 50m and not exceeding 100m and deposited where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50m above from the starting point, complete all as specified.
17PVC (SWR) pipes, grade 'B', 110mm bore, single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints and laid in trenches, complete all as specified and as directed.
18MS TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips, complete all as specified and directed.
19All as per Srl item No. 18 above, but 5mm dia and over upto and including 10mm dia in stirrups, spacers and binders
20Forming square grooves in plaster not exceeding 12mm deep and not exceeding 15mm on face complete all as specified and as directed.
21Mild steel works as in hand rails, half round or other steel section or core for wooden hand-rail straight portion, drilled and countersunk for balusters running bars, for doors, balusters, nosing to steps including embedding in concrete and screwing etc. wind ties for roof including securing bolts, posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and as directed.
22Preparation of new surfaces of any description over 10cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enemel (ordiany tint) paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and directed.

24Galvanised, 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc. as directed (each line wire to be measured) complete all as specified & directed.
25Punched tape concertina coil as per latest IS 6745-1972 with galvanised coating and punched type material as per IS deep drawn quality with galvanised coating having medium barbs fixed in position and secured to newly made angle iron Y- arm stretched to a length so as to achieve 600mm dia fixed on wall exceeding 3m height as in fencing including fixing with special galvanised fasteners such as J clips, C clips, U clips fixed at any height of security fence including necessary scaffolding complete all as directed.Size of Coil: 600mm dia and 2.5mm core wire thick.Type of strip: Heavy galvanised conforming to IS 1730 (1989).Type of core wire: Heavy galvanised conforming to IS 280-2006. Zinc coating to strip : 200GSM/SqmmZinc coating to line wire: 18 micronsTensile strength of wire: 1620 N/Sqmm.Weight: 9.00 Kg/per coil (± 5% tolerance).Stretchable length of each coil: 6m. Type of clip: Steel grade 'A' as per IS 2060 finished hot dip galvanised 20 micron.Steel strip: Width -19mm and thickness 0.5mm
26Mild steel framed work such as grills, gratings. etc. with ends of bars shouldered and or riveted, or forged into spikes, framed guard bars, barred iron doors, ladders, framed balusters, walk ways, railing , framedwork or water tanks and similar work conforming to Fe 290 Gde- E-165, complete all as specified and directed.
27Surface dressing not exceeding 15cm deep including clearing away all grass, vegetation, saplings, shruba, bushes, under growth, roots and trees with trunk not exceeding 30cm girth (measured 1 mtr above ground level), removing rubbish off the site to a distance not exceeding 50mtr from the periphery of area under clearance, any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.
28Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each not exceeding 0.5 cum, getting out in any kind of soil, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25cm, watering and removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and making good surface complete all as specified and directed.
29PCC 1:2:4 type B-2, (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.
30Supply and fixing circular hollow mild steel tube (IS-1161) outer 76mm dia, 3.0mm thickness (+10% tolerance), 3345mm long (+5%) (2745mm above ground level + 600mm under the ground level), each weighing 20Kgs (+5% tolerance) hot dipped galvanized to minimum 350 GSM as per IS 2629/IS 4759/ASTMA 123 as in fence posts, complete all as specified and directed.
31Omega clamp with profile cover plate (178mm long, 50.20mm short width, 3mm thick) to tighten the mesh panel along the posts with 178mm long(shorter length) Inner dia 78mm, 35mm width and 3mm thick (MS strip as per IS:1730) as per drg, hot dipped galvanized to minimum 350 GSM as per IS 4759/ ASTMA 123 (7 No per post). Each clamp will be supplied with the pair of SS 316 mushroom headed, square necked bolts and security nuts M8x50 (IS 8535-1987) each set of Omega clamps including weight of SS-316 security nuts, shall be weighing 0.66kg (+/-5% tolerance), complete all as specified and as directed.
32Supply and fixing straining 'Y' arm shall be of MS angle iron of size 50mm 50xmm 5mm (IS-1730), 750mm length each one of hot dipped galvanized to 350 GSM as per IS 2629/IS: 4759/ASTMA 123, each 'Y' arm weighing 17.24 kg (+/-5% tolerance), with 100mm long & 83mm outer dia of sleeve capacity, bolted as in straining 'Y' arm on the top of the fence of the post at every 30mtr distance fitted with stainless steel mushroom head bolts with breakable head safety nut (M8 x 120) (2 No per post) each set of SS-316 security nuts weighing 0.168 kg (+-5% tolerance) as per drawings, complete all as specified and directed.
33Supply and fixing straining 'Y' arm shall be of MS angle iron of size 40mm 50xmm 3mm (IS-1730), 750mm length each one of hot dipped galvanized to 350 GSM as per IS 2629/IS: 4759/ASTMA 123, each 'Y' arm weighing 6.75 kg (+/-5% tolerance), with 45mm long & 83mm outer dia of sleeve capacity, (600mm long & 25mm x 5mm size flat bar to be bolted in 'Y' arm) bolted as in straining 'Y' arm on the top of the fence of the post fitted with stainless steel mushroom head bolts with breakable head safety nut (M8 x 120) (2 No per post) each set of SS-316 security nuts weighing 0.168 kg (+-5% tolerance) as per drawings, complete all as specified and directed.
34Supply and fixing 10mm dia 250mm long GI anchor rod, each weighing 0.155kg (+/-5% tolerance) to tie with fence posts at bottom using tie wire (2 No each post) complete all as specified and directed.
35Supply and fixing rectangular anti cut high security electrical resistance galvanized wire weld mesh panels (size 955mm x 2667mm +/-5mm tolerance each weighing 23.25 Kg +/- 5% tolerance & 2 \\"V\\" bends) and subsequently powder coated installed with necessary clamps, profile plates complete all shown on drgs, specified and directed.Mesh wire diameter & tolerance: Core diameter of the horizontal wire: 4mm +/-0.05mm (conforming to IS:280-2006. Core diameter of the vertical wire: 4mm +/-0.05. Tensile strength of wire: 550 N/Sqmm. Mesh size: Distance between horizontal wire: 12.7mm. Distance between vertical wire: 76.2mm (subject to tolerance in accordance with EN 10223.7 EN 10245_1). Welding strength: The average weld shear strength of 4 welds taken at random shall not be less than 50% of breaking strength of vertical wire (EN-10223.-7. Zinc coating :40-45 GSM (100% zinc) (conforming to IS:4826-1979). Powder coating: After welding the panels shall be polyester powder coated in single layer of thickness 60-80 micron in green colour RAL 6005 and shall withstand 1000 hours of salt spray test. Reference drawing: WM-WC-0417-S-377 dt 01.04.2017. Wire tensile strength: Min 550N/sqmm. Weld strength: The average wekd shear strength of 4 welds taken at random shall not be less than 50% of the breaking strength of the vertical wire powder costing : EN13438-2005/IS:13871-1993.(Note: Supply of omega clamps with profile cover plate will be measured separately under Srl item No 05).
