| 1 | Earth work excavation and depositing on bank with initial lead of 10mand lift of 2m in narrow trenches having bed width 1.25m and below for laying of pipes for water supply and sewerage works in the following type of soils as directed by the Departmental officers. |

| 7 | Providing shoring and strutting for excavated trenches up to a depth of 3m including cost and conveyance of all materials, labour charges and removal of shoring and strutting at appropriate time and as directed by the departmental officers with all incidental and operational charges etc. |
| 8 | Providing barricading arrangements for laying the pipeline, using casurina props of size 8cm to 10cm dia of 1.5m length at a spacing not exceeding 1.5m c/c for vertical posts and tied in between with coir rope including watching during night and fixing danger flags/ reflectors and painting in different colour etc. Complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. |
| 9 | Cutting of 500mm dia Ductile iron/ Cast Iron pipes true to the axis of fixing and piling the cut ends suitable for joining the pipes etc., and as directed by the departmental officers. Complete complying with standard specification. |
