Format of MOU is enclosed with tender documents. Any bidder who fails to upload MOU alongwith tender shall be rejected. Original MOU shall be submitted to GE within 10 days of placing of work order. Note 2 : Contractor shall submit manufacturer Test Certificate/ Paint literature duly meeting the primer and paint specification i.e. Tensile strength and elongation etc.) |

| 14 | Material and labour for repair/ retrofitting of concrete surface through following steps :- Step 1 :- Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material 50 mm avg thickness from slabs, beams, columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts complete.Step 2 :- Cleaning of rust from reinforcing bars to give it a total rust free steel surface by using alkaline chemical rust remover of approved make with paint brush and removing loose particles after 24 hours of its application with wire brush and thoroughly washing with water and allowing it to dry. Step 3 :- Reinforcement with expanded metal/welded mesh OR Drilling suitable holes, in reinforced or plain cement concrete with power driven drill machine to a minimum depth of 100mm upto 200mm in RCC beams, lintels, columns and slabs to introduce steel bars for strengthening with and including fixing the steel bars in position using epoxy resin anchor grout of approved make with and including the cost of reinforcement. Step 4 :- Mixing and applying bonding coat of SBR Polymer (@10% of cement weight) modified cementitious bond coat @ 2.2 kg cement per sqm of surface area mixed with specified proportion of approved polymer on chipped portion of RCC.Step 5 :- Mixing and applying 50mm thick in Grade M 25 with cement content not less than 330 kg per cum SBR polymer (of approved make @ minimum 2% by wt. of cement used), modified plain/reinforced cement concrete for structural members having minimum characteristic compressive strength [with ordinary portland cement, coarse sand and graded stone aggregate of 10mm maximum size in proportion as per design criteria] with specified average thickness complete.Step 6 :- Finishing the surface with Two coats of all weather exterior emulsion paints in camouflaging pattern @1.43 litre/10 sqm over and including priming coats of exterior primer of same make applied @0.9 litre/10 sqm as per site condition matching with the existing surfaces, work in building at any height complete. Note for item No 5 :- All material (Grout, Paint, Admixture, Reinforcement etc.) required shall be brought by contractor and no extra payment shall be admissible). |
