| 1 | Inspection and Hydraulic Testing of BFP Lub Oil Cooler/Working oil coolers assembly: Disconnecting the Lub oil and Working Oil lines from the Cooler after draining the sump oil, dismantling the water boxes, separation of tube nest from the cooler and cleaning the inner surface of shells, tube nest and conducting the hydraulic test to the rated pressure, reconditioning of shell outer surface by welding if necessary, plugging the tubes if puncture deducted and reassembling of cooler and the connected parts with the renewed gaskets & ‘O’ rings. |
| 2 | Inspection & cleaning of CEP strainer: Loosening of all the strainer cover flange bolts & nuts, lifting and removing the strainer cover, removing the CEP strainer from the strainer assembly, inspection and reconditioning the damaged strainer if necessary, cleaning the strainer, cleaning inside the strainer well and removing the old gasket from the lid closing area, assembling the strainer basket in the well and assembling the CEP strainer assembly with renewed gasket and painting of the strainer outer area. (Paints under contractor scope) |
| 3 | Renewal of gaskets:-Disconnecting the Balancing leak-off line, suction & discharge flanges of BFP, Removing the old gaskets and cleaning the flange surfaces, reassembling the leak-off, suction and discharge flanges with renewed gaskets, renewal of worn out cooling water line & oil line valves including cutting and welding works if required, renewal of worn out flanges & view glass arrangements and checking for any leakages before commissioning and attending the defects. |
| 4 | Cleaning and painting:- Cleaning and painting of all the Oil Lines and Cooling Water lines of Boiler Feed Pump with different colors of Heat Resistant paints.(Paint under contractor scope). |
| 5 | Inspection & cleaning of BFBP strainer: Dismantling the strainer lid assembly and removing the BFBP strainer basket from the strainer assembly, inspection and renewing the damaged strainers if necessary, cleaning the strainers and reassembling the basket, cleaning inside the strainer well and removing the old gasket from the lid closing area, assembling the strainer basket in the well and assembling the BFBP strainer assembly with renewed gasket. |
| 6 | Overhauling of BFP mechanical Seal cooler Dismantling the Mechanical Seal Cooler connected pipe lines removing and dismantling of mechanical seal cooler & removing the existing cylindrical portion and coil from the cooler. |
| 7 | Cleaning the outer portion of coils by wire brush preparation of gaskets for all flanges assembling and resuming pipe line connections and erection of mechanical seal cooler. painting the inner and outer side of the mechanical seal cooler shell and connected pipe lines. |
| 8 | Overhauling of SRV’s for BFBPs:- Removing the safety Relief valve Size 4’’, 2.5’’/ 300 Class from Suction line Boiler Feed Booster Pumps is assembling the Safety Relief Valve, cleaning all the parts of the SRV, checking the seating surfaces and Lapping the seat and disc for perfect blue matching. Setting the pressure for rated lifting the SRV with hydraulic pump. Reassembling the SRV with new inlet and outlet flange gaskets. |
