Removal And Fitment Of All Eddy Plates, Eddy Cones And Rope Guards, To Be Shifted To Shop Floor For Repairs, If Necessary. 3. Eye-Pads To Be Welded For Shaft And Blades Removal. 4. Clearance Checks Of Stern Bush, P Bkt And A Bkt On Propeller Shafts. 5. Removal Of Top And Bottom Half Bushes Of Stern Tube, P Bkt And A Bkt And Shifting To Shop Floor. 6. Replacement Of Old Rubber Segments With New Rubber Segments On Stern, P And A Bkt Bushes And To Be Fitted Back Onboard. 7. Removal Of Propeller Blades And Shifting To Shop Floor For Overhauling. 8.Repairs Of Propeller Blades If Any Blades And Blade Bolts To Be Dpt Tested. 9. Disconnection Of Inner Tubes, Overhauling And Pressure Testing To Be Undertaken And To Be Fitted Back. 10. Dismounting Of Skf Coupling On Tail Shafts And Shifting To Shop Floor For Overhauling. 11.Skf Couplings To Be Overhauled. 12. Dismantling Of Deep-Sea Seal Assemblies And Shifting To Shop Floor For Overhauling. 13. Deep Sea Seals To Be Overhauled And To Be Fitted Back Onboard. Hot Bonding And Pressure Testing Of Inflatable Seal To Be Undertaken With Ship Pneumatic System. 14. Shafts To Be Removed And Shifted To Shop Floor. Assistance For Re-Sleeving Of Shafts. 15. Hubs To Be Removed From Shaft, Shafts To Be Handed Over To Machine Shop And Hub To Be Shifted To Repair Firms Workshop For Over Hauling. 16. Post Overhauling And Pressure Testing Of The Hubs, The Hubs To Be Shifted To Nd (V) And Mounted On Shafts After Connecting Oil Tubes. 17. Shaft To Be Shifted To Dry Dock For Insertion. 18 Shaft To Be Inserted Back In Place, Seal Housing To Be Mounted In Position. The Uw Clearance To Be Recorded Thereafter. 19. Oil Tubes To Be Connected And Skf Couplings To Be Mounted, And Bolts To Be Fitted. 20. Blades To Be Mounted And Torque Tightened. In House Feathering Trials To Be Taken And Any Deviations To Be Corrected. 21. Feathering Trials To Be Offered To Trials Agencies Of Indian Navy Including Yard Qc During The Course Of Dry Dock And Any Observations To Be Cleared And Re-Offered If Necessary. 22. During The Course Of Undocking, Firm Rep To Be Present To Address Any Case Of Flooding/ Any Leakage Of Water Either From The Blanked Joint Or From The Newly Mounted Deep-Sea Seal. 23. Competent Person From The Firm To Be Available For Both Basin Trials And Sea Trials Upto Full Power Trials Where Applicable For Successful Proving Of Shafting System. 24. Pocker Gauge Reading To Be Taken 25.Any Hydraulic Jacks, Pumps, Powerpacks Equipment Required For Lifting Purpose Will Be Firms Scope 26. Any Transportation Vehicle For Shifting Of Item (To & Fro) Will Be Firms Scope 27. Any Tools, Torque Tightening Equipment And Chain Blocks Will Be Firms Scope 28. Dismantling And Cleaning Of Bulkhead Gland Assemblies. 29. Gauging And Polishing Of Shaft Journal. 30. Replacement Of Diaphragm And Ring Bulkhead Joint. 31. Assembling And Clearance Checks Of Bulkhead Gland. As Per Oem Documentation , Propeller Hub Mr Routines Of Propeller Hub 1. Dismantle The Propeller Hub At Repair Firms Workshop. 2. Clean All The Parts And Check By Ndt (Dp & Mpi Of All The Parts) 3. Calibrate All The Parts And Comparison With Standard Limits As Per Oem Manuals 4. Any Parts Found Out Of Limits To Be Renewed/ Replaced With New Parts. 5. Assembling Of The Hubs To Be Undertaken. 6. Check For The Operational Performance And Pressure Test Of Hub Assembly. 7. Feathering Trials To Be Offered To Trials Agencies Of Indian Navy Including Yard Qc During The Course Of Dry Dock And Any Observations To Be Cleared And Re Offered If Necessary. 8. Competent Person From The Firm To Be Available For Both Basin Trials And Sea Trials Upto Full Power Trials Where Applicable For Successfully Proving Of Shafting System.As Per Oem Documentation , Cpp Mr Routines Of Cpp 1. All Pipeline Connections To Be Marked And Removed 2. Cpp Oil Connection To Be Removed 3. Fit Bolts With The Intermediate Shaft To Be Disconnected 4. Gauge All The Parts, And Check White Metal Bearings. Establish The Operating 4. Gauge All The Parts, And Check White Metal Bearings. Establish The Operating Clearances And Check And Compare With The Documented Limits 5.Renew The Bearings If Required. 6. Performance Trials To Be Undertaken And Offered To Yard Qc/ Various Trials Agencies Of Indian Navy. Any Observation To Be Corrected As Per Oem Books. 7. Competent Person From The Firm To Be Available For Basin Trails And Further Sea Trials Upto Full Power Trials Where Applicable Till The Cpp Is Completely Proved And Handed Over To Ship.As Per Oem Documentation , Od Box Mr Routines Of Od Box 1. Od Box To Be Shifted From Ship To Repair Firms Workshop For Overhauling 2. Dismantle The Coupling On Od Box Shaft, Renew Coupling Seal And Od Box At Workshop, Chemical Cleaning Of The Casing For Removal Of All Paints And Dirts Etc. 3. Reassemble The Od Box With All New Seals. Mount The Coupling, Check The Stroke Length Of The Tube. 4. After Overhauling, The Od Box To Be Shifted Back To Nd(V), And Then Onboard For Fitment. 5. Fit The Od Box, Couple The Od Shaft With Intermediate Shaft And Connect All The Pipelines. 6. Od Box Shaft Run Out Checks To Be Undertaken.As Per Oem Documentation , Shaft-Line Sighting During Progress Of Dismantling/ Installation Of The Tail Shaft / Od Box, Sighting Of The Shaft Line, Is Required To Be Undertaken By The Firm, To Establish Requirements For Corrections, If Any. Payment At Actuals As Per Oem Documentation , Intermediate Shaft As Necessitated For Ser 4 Above, Either Or Both Intermediate Shafts Are To Be Dismantled And Raised In Position Using Chain-Block / Shackles. Payments At Actuals As Per Oem Documentation , Plummer Blocks 1. Dismantling Of Plummer Block To Be Undertaken. 2. Oil Clearances To Be Checked, White Metal Pads To Be Replaced And Necessary Contact Checks To Be Undertaken. 3. Hot/Cold Repairs Of Seal Areas To Be Undertaken If Required. 4. Polishing Of The Shaft Journal, Cleaning Of Sump, Pressure Testing Of Ribbed Tubes And Renewal Of Seals To Be Undertaken. 5.
