(b) One layer of APP based polymeric membrane minimum weighing 3kg/sqm and minimum 3mm thick reinforced with polyster non wove fabric (wt. not less than 150 gms/sqm) land on primed surface by torced application complete all as specified. Polymeric membrane shall be taken to a height of 60 cm (minimum) and then inserted inside the groove of parapet walls and shall be finished by a membrane flashing.Note: (i) Laying of APP based membranes shall be done by torch on method or as per manufacturer's instructions.(ii) A minimum overlap shall be 75mm length wise and 100 mm width wise of polymeric membranes respectively and sealed all overlaps and joints as manufacturer's instructions. (iii) The whole works shall be executed by the authorised company applicator. |
