| 3 | LT Distribution Panel shall be fabricated from 2.0 mm thick CRCA sheet steel, totally enclosed, powder-coated, free-standing and floor-mounted type, suitable for indoor installation and designed to be dust and vermin proof. The panel shall be provided with outward-opening, lockable doors with concealed/hidden hinges and bolted back covers. Doors and covers shall be provided with non-deteriorating neoprene rubber gaskets to ensure the required degree of IP protection. All fabricated components of the panel shall be subjected to seven-tank chemical treatment prior to powder coating/painting. The panel shall be manufactured in accordance with the relevant Indian Standards (IS). The busbars shall be made of high-conductivity electrolytic-grade aluminium, adequately sized for the required current-carrying capacity. Control wiring shall be carried out using 1.5 sq. mm PVC-insulated flexible copper wires. Each wire shall be properly identified and terminated with suitable crimped wire ferrules at both ends. Overall panel dimensions: 2500 mm (H) × 1200 mm (W) × 600 mm (D). The panel shall be complete with all necessary components, accessories, supports, internal wiring, hardware and fittings of approved make. |
