Name of Work:- TTPS – Mech.II - BM – Unit I, II & III – Replacement of worn-out platform supports, step / floor grills, hand rails and strengthening of corroded welding joints in Unit I, II & III Airpreheaters and ID Fans suction duct areas
Sl. No. Item Description
1Charges for cutting and removal of heavily eroded platform, hand rails and floor grills from various elevation of boiler, transporting & devoluting scrap to Central Stores.
2Charges for welding of eroded initial welding joints in the platform, structures & path way etc.
3Charges for fabrication and erection of platforms with proper supports and hand rails with Iron & Steel materials, step / floor grills (or) modifying the existing approach platforms by cutting and re-erecting, for a safe movement of men and material. This work includes all required consumables (such as gas, welding electrodes, grinding stones, ropes, slings, cotton waste, etc.,) and T&P’s (such as welding machine, cutting set, grinding machine etc.,)
4Charges for painting the platforms, structurals supports, step / floor grills and hand rails with two coats of synthetic enamel paint including cost of paints and consumables etc.
5Charges for transportation of required scaffolding materials clamps, wooden blanks etc. from pocket stores to site, leading, lifting and erection of temporary platform in the above said area and dismantling the platform and returning to stores after completion of work.
