| 40 | M&L for cleaning of 100000 Gallon RCC over head reservoir of any type, any height using construction of staging or by mechanical means for carrying out the inner surface of the walls and ceilings of the tank shall be cleaned with high pressure jet pump after emptying the water in the tank. After thorough cleaning of the tank, the cleaning water and sludge is to be removed by using pump and the sludge has to be disposed off at a place as directed. After removing the sludge from tank, the tank shall be cleaned thoroughly by using high pressure water pump first and again cleaned the tank by using high pressure vaccume pump and after removing the sludge / dirt completely from the tank the floor and inner surfaces of the tank shall be cleaned by using a industrial vaccum cleaner and the tank shall be made fully dust free. After made the tank dirt free the inner surfaces of walls and ceiling of the tank shall be treated with anti bacterial agents. After the treatment as mentioned above, the inner surface of walls and ceiling shall be treated with UV Radiator. After complete treatment is carried out, the all pipes inlet, over flow, delivery, wash out, ladder and doors shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel black paint after thorough cleaning the surfaces and also the surfaces of sluice valves shall be painted with PO red paint and writing 'Capacity of tank, date of cleaning and due date of cleaning' on wall as specified and as directed. Incl replacing of u/s wire mesh of ventilations of the tank with new mesh complete all as directed BY Engineer-in-Charge.Notes for item No : (1) The unit rate quoted is deemed to be including draining of water with mechanical equipment and working in water and mud etc. (2) The unit rate quoted is deemed to include all safety precautions which shall be taken while working on RCC over head tank / under ground sump and contractor or his engineer shall be available during execution of the job.
