| 41 | Preparing the formation for track work by repairing formation and correcting longitudinal and lateral profile with contractor's labours, tools and plants inclusive of all lead and lift complete. Rate will include initial packing and surfacing to meet longitudinal and cross levels/alignment etc. Rates includes lubrication of joints, greasing and oiling of fish plates/bolts with contractor’s material and labour. Note: I. The work includes pulling/handling of rails for creation of gap which shall be required after cutting of rails for welding.II. Rate includes hauling of rails and sleepers up to 200 mt and small fittings to be carted from contractor's store supplied under various items of the contract. III. 75% payment to be made after linking of track. 25% payment to be made after attaining longitudinal alignment and initial rounds of packing, surfacing by manually / off track tampers to be arranged by the contractor. Tracks to be made fit for speed of 20 km/h. IV.The work includes lubrication of joints and greasing of Pandrol Clips.V. The work includes drilling of holes, cutting & cropping of rails perfectly for which payments shall be made separately.VI. Rails shall be arranged by MRVC/Railways. VII. All other P.Way fittings shall be arranged by the under Section-II contractor for which payment shall be made separately.VIII. Rate includes fixing reference pegs for alignment and level for maintaining the same as decided by the Engineer.IX. Spreading of ballast shall be paid in relevant item of this BOQ.X. Whenever SKV Welding is to be done,the same will be carried out by contractor using his own resources as the specifications. The payment of SKV Welding will be made as per seperate item. |
