Name of Work:- SMART PERIODICAL SERVICES IN DOMESTIC AREA MD AND OTM ACCN AT BHISIANA UNDER GE (AF) BHISIANA
Sl. No. Item Description
1Material and labour for carefully chipping and removing loose, cracked or damaged concrete, including plaster, from columns, beams, ceilings, chajjas, fascias, fins, drops and similar RCC members, using a low-impact, high-frequency electric hammer/chipper or wooden hammer, without damaging the surrounding sound concrete. The work shall include exposing the existing reinforcement bars by removing concrete to at least 10 mm beyond the corroded reinforcement, cutting the edges of the repair area neat and square using an electrically operated diamond concrete saw, cleaning the exposed reinforcement and concrete surfaces thoroughly with a wire brush and removing all loose rust, dust and debris. Thereafter, the damaged portion shall be rebuilt with cement concrete (1:1.5:3), Type A-0, using 6mm to 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate, including providing and fixing additional steel pieces and mild steel wire mesh, wherever required, for proper bonding and restoration of the original profile. After initial setting of the concrete, the repaired surface shall be finished with cement mortar (1:3) to match the existing line, level and finish. The item shall include all materials, labour, tools and plant, scaffolding, form work, curing and incidental works, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
2Taking down cement plaster/rough cast plaster from brick walls/soffits of roof projections & chajjas /ceilings etc. including racking out joints, hacking for key & scrubbing down with water etc including disposal of rubbish material to any distance out side MOD land complete all as specified and as directed.
3Material and labour for 15mm thick cement plastering/ rendering in cement mortar (1:4) on any face of Brick walls or concrete surfaces, finished even and fair complete all as specified and as directed.
4Material and labour for rendering/plastering 10-12 mm thick in CM (1:6) on any face of Brick walls or concrete surfaces, finished even and fair complete all as specified and as directed.
5Material and labour for rendering/plastering 5 mm thick in CM (1:3) on concrete surfaces of ceiling, finished fair and even complete all as specified and as directed.
6Material and labour for rough cast plaster on exterior walls in two layers, under layer not less than 10mm cement plaster (1:3) (1 cement: 3 coarse sand ) furrowing the under layer with scratching tool, and while it is still in plastic state the roughcast mixture consisting of crushed stone or fine gravel aggregate (which is generally of size between 6 to 12 mm depending on the texture required) mixed with coarse sand and cement in the ratio of (1: 1: 1) shall be applied and finished even. The mix of cement and sand shall be made slightly wetter than normal for rendering to ensure that larger aggregates are thoroughly covered, complete in all respects and as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
7Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surfaces of ceiling by brooming down or by sand papering or by any other mean and after preparing the surfaces applying three coats of white wash by using paint brush complete all as specified and as directed.
8Material and labour for preparing the surface and applying two coats of Oil Bound Distemper (OBD) of approved make and shade to walls/pillars /cornices surfaces (over any type of surface new or old prepared after complete removal etc.) over one coat of cement primer suitable for OBD, paint and primer applying by using paint brush or roller brush complete all as specified and as directed.
9Material and labour for complete removal of existing treatment of any type/description (any layer) from external/internal wall/ceiling surfaces, soffits/chajja/roof projection surfaces etc., by scraping steel patti and Mechanical sander/grinder machine having suction vaccum Bag (Smart periodical methodology), complete all as specified and as directed.
10Material and labour for preparation of exterior surfaces of walls/ceiling/soffits etc, applying traditional cement-based putty (white-cement-based polymer-modified powder) (thickness from 1 to 1.5 mm as required for desired smoothness and levelling of surfaces), including gently sand the surface with fine emery paper to make surface smooth and ready for receiving further painting work complete all as specified and as directed.
11Material and labour for preparation of interior surfaces of walls/ceiling/soffits etc, applying acrylic putty is a water-based, Smooth, creamy paste (ready-to-use), white or off-white color (thickness from 1.0 to 1.5 mm as required for desired smoothness and levelling of surfaces), including sanding with wall sander after filling the putty in first coat/second coat to make surface smooth and ready for receiving further painting work complete all as specified and as directed.
12Material and labour for preparing the surface and applying 02 coats of interior acrylic emulsion paint of approved tint/shade (Company Depot Tinted) to internal surfaces of walls/pillars /cornices etc. (over any type of surface new or old prepared after complete removal etc) over and including a coat of interior alkali resistant water-based primer (primer shall be same make as acrylic emulsion paint), paint and primer applying by using paint roller brush complete all as specified and as directed.Brand and Make of interior acrylic emulsion paint: - Bison Acrylic Emulsion of Berger / Tractor Emulsion of Asian / Beaty Smooth of Nerolac / Promise Interior Emulsion of Dulux (AkzoNobel)Brand and Make of primer for internal : - Seal O Primer of Berger / Smart Care Primero of Asian / Premium Interior Wall Primer of Nerolac / Promise Interior Primer of Dulux

14Material and labour for preparation of existing internal treated vertical surfaces by removing all loose paint, treatment, dust, dirt and other foreign matter using broom, paint brush or any other suitable means as required. The surfaces shall be thoroughly cleaned with a dry or slightly damp cloth. The item includes filling of nail holes, pin holes, minor undulations and hairline cracks with acrylic putty wherever required. Thereafter, applying one coat of Interior Acrylic Emulsion Paint of approved make, shade and tint (Company Depot Tinted) matching the existing colour, by using paint roller/brush. The rate shall also include application of additional coats, wherever necessary, to achieve uniform shade, proper coverage and smooth finish, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Brand and Make of interior acrylic emulsion paint: - Bison Acrylic Emulsion of Berger / Tractor Emulsion of Asian / Beaty Smooth of Nerolac / Promise Interior Emulsion of Dulux (AkzoNobel)
15Material and labour for preparation of existing internal treated vertical surfaces by removing/scraping all loose paint, treatment, dust, dirt and other foreign matter using broom, paint brush, sand paper, wall sander or any other suitable means as required. The surfaces shall be thoroughly cleaned with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Thereafter, applying one coat of plastic emulsion paint of approved make, and to matching the existing colour, using paint roller/brush, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
16Material and labour for preparation of old previously treated surfaces of concrete / chequered tiles / interlocking tiles / kerb stone /Brick of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth, by cleaning the dust and removing all loose particle with using clean cloths, brooms and dry paint brush etc and after preparing the surfaces applying two coats of washable floor paint, coverage per sqm @ as per manufacturer’s brochure, of approved tint/colour (one colour or alternative any colour) complete as specified and as directed.Make : - INDIGO Platinum Series / Asian paints Apex Floor Guard Exterior Paint / Dulux Floor Plus
17Material and labour for preparation of old previously treated surfaces of concrete / kerb stone or similar surface of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth, by cleaning the dust and removing all loose particle with using clean cloths, brooms and dry paint brush etc and after preparing the surfaces applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint (1st quality) of approved tint/colour (one colour or alternative any colour black/white/yellow etc) complete all as specified and as directed.
18Material and labour for preparation of old treated surfaces (plastered / unplastered) of ceiling by remove / scraping down all loose treatment etc with using broom, wire brush or by any other mean and after preparing the surfaces applying one coat of white wash by using paint brush complete all as specified and as directed.
19Material and labour for preparation of old treated surfaces (plastered / unplastered) of walls/pillars /cornices by remove / scraping down all loose treatment etc with using broom, wire brush or by any other mean and after preparing the surfaces applying one coat of white wash by using paint brush complete all as specified and as directed.
20Material and labour for preparation of old painted wooden surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth by cleaning the dust and removing all loose particle with using clean cloths and dry paint brush & applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint (1st quality) of approved tint/colour as per existing with using paint brush complete all as specified and as directed.
21Material and labour for preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth by cleaning the dust and removing all loose particle with using sanded paper, clean cloths and dry paint brush & applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint (1st quality) of approved tint/colour to achieve glossing finish with using paint brush complete all as specified and as directed.
22Material and labour for finishing walls with approved texture paint of required shade, including preparation of the surfaces and application of two or more coats, as required to achieve the approved texture and finish, over one coat of exterior primer, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
23Material and labour for providing and fixing non-woven matt wallpaper of approved design, shade and pattern, as selected and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, manufactured from approximately 30% recycled and 70% renewable cellulose fibres, suitable for residential and interior applications and having a minimum width of 762 mm, including preparation of wall surfaces and fixing with approved adhesive. The wallpaper shall be fixed with a minimum overlap of 50 mm at joints, or as recommended by the manufacturer, including cutting, trimming, matching and alignment of patterns, and making good all edges and joints, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 24Material and labour for providing and fixing non-woven matt wallpaper of approved design, shade and pattern, as selected and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, manufactured from approximately 30% recycled and 70% renewable cellulose fibres, suitable for residential and interior applications and having a minimum width of 762 mm, including preparation of wall surfaces and fixing with approved adhesive. The wallpaper shall be fixed with a minimum overlap of 50 mm at joints, or as recommended by the manufacturer, including cutting, trimming, matching and alignment of patterns, and making good all edges and joints, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
