| 1 | Fire safety must be monitored 24 x 7 basis in 3 (three) shifts per day with 01 (One) Semi Skilled person per shift.Semi Skilled person shall ensure for – 1 Year x 365 days x 1 Nos. Person x 3 Shift = 1095 Head.i) Sufficient amount of water in reservoir.ii) Fire Pumps, valves and pressure gauges are serviceable.iii) No pressure drop in Hydrant line including periodical cleaning of all valves. iv) Visually check for the serviceability of the detection system.v) Should monitor the expiry date and pressure of all the extinguishers and ensure that all the extinguishers are in proper condition.vi) De-greasing & Greasing bearing and gland of Pump & Motor time to time.vii) No rusty water in riser and branch line.viii) Intimate authority to refill extinguisher well before expiry date.ix) Training / briefing for vendor staff every month.(Intending bidders are not required to quote any rate against this item), [This rate has been calculated by inlcuding P.F @12%, EDLI @0.5%, Administrative Expense @0.5%, ESI @3.25%, Bonus @8.33%, GST 18%, in considering prevailing minimum wages vide Circular No. 27/Stat/14/RW/24/2023/LCS/JLC Dt. 22/06/2026, of Additional Labour Commissioner, Government of West Bengal & also considering 18% GST on minimum wages and contribution of E.P.F., E.S.I. & Bonus to be made by the agency as per memorandum vide no. 3790-F(Y) Dated 21.07.2014 of Joint Secretary, Finance (Audit) Department, Govt. of West Bengal] |

| 3 | Arrange & conduct, atleast twice a month for intensive checking of all the pumps installed for firefighting system including sequential operation of those pumps to check the performance of each pumps. The job includes checking of all valves and other instruments installed inside pump house and making necessary nominal rectifications / repair / replacement if required to ensure proper functionality of the fire pumps. Storage of Diesel to be checked and refilling to be done whenever necessary to ensure smooth operation of Diesel Engine driven pump during emergency. Mock Test for fire pumps both in AUTO & MANUAL operations to be conducted during the visit in every 15 days and report of the test to be submitted to PWD for record.Inspection of entire Hydrant Network System at least once in a month and submit report to PWD for any leakage or damage of hydrant / landing valves or any other type of valves and instruments (water pipe lines etc.) for taking further course of action to ensure proper functionality of the installed fire protection system. The scope also includes minor repair / rectification of all type of valves such as replacement of worn out or damaged gasket with new one, replacement of damaged bolts and nuts with new one etc. Major rectification such as replacement of damaged hand wheel, flanges, perforated pipes, pipe supports, valve seat rings, Chargeable Batteries, etc. to be done on chargeable basis with prior intimation to PWD. During inspection of water network, the vendor shall drain out water from risers and sprinkler lines and recharge it with set pressure after proper flushing. Inlet valves of hydrant risers to be kept close after completion of flushing and recharging of water to avoid any accidental discharge of water. The agency will held sole responsible if the Fire Hydrant Systems will not work in demand of emergency for any leakage or pilfarage of water from any parts of the fire hydrant system which has not brought into the knowledge of PWD by the working agency earlier.i) Pump House in Kolkata Lok Bhavan Campus --- 1 No. [Total 1 no.
