| 1 | Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m deep for laying of pipes etc and getting out including cutting of grass and bushes complete all as specified and directed. |
| 2 | Notes :-1. Excavation shall be carried out manually. Use of JCB for excavation in trenches will not be allowed in any case.2. Any damage to existing underground electric cable HT/LT, Fibre Optic Cable or Pipe Line shall be repaired / made good by the Contractor within 24 hours of the damage. Nothing extra from the department shall be admissible on this account.3. In case the Contractor fails to repair / make good the damage, the same shall be got repaired by the department through any third party and an amount equal to double the cost of repair / making good shall be recovered from the Contractor. |
