| 1 | Supplying and fixing of Armstrong Vox false ceiling with VOX soffit made of PVC is a convenient and economical alternative to standard soffit solutions using wood and metal. VOX soffit system is a practical and trouble-free finishing of the roof. It was designed to provide both functionality and attractive look. The product is durable and resistant to changing climatic conditions. Easy to keep clean Resistant to biological corrosion. Semi-gloss surface of panels and their structure perfectly imitate the natural 1 grain of wood, and ideally selected colours match the most popular items of joinery. it has designed the perforation to ensure adequate ventilation and protection of the roof. In addition, shape of perforation openings prevent access of insects such as wasps, hornets and bees. VOX offers two soffit systems. VOX soffit allows to install a lighting system, cover its wiring and extend the service life of roof structural elements. It is ideal finishing for roofs and carports. All the materials should be got approved from the Executive Engineer before use on work |
| 2 | Providing and fixing Acoustic Wall Panelling in channelledwood works perforated panels of width 192mm, thicknessof 15mm and length of 2400mm or as per required bythe Departmental Engineer made of a high density fibreboard with minimum 725 kg./m3 density substrate witha laminated facing as per the approved shade and finishand a melamine balancing layer on the reverse side. Theboards shall have a special peforation pattern where thevisible surface has a Helmholtz fluted perforation of 3mmwidth and 21mm of visible panel each. The edges ofthe panels shall be tongue-and-grooved to receive specialclips for installation. The back of the perforated panel shallhave sound absorbing non woven acoustical fleese havingNRC of 0.52. The panels shall be mounted on specialaluminium splines using clips provided by Armstrong andapproved by the Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 3 | Installation: Install aluminium box section (provided byothers) of section 50mm x 25mm or as approved by theEngineer-in-Charge on the solid wall horizontally usingscrews and plugs at spacing of 600mm centre to centre.Screw the aluminium extruded keel for channelled woodworks provided over the lowest and second aluminiumsection at an on centre distance of 600mm. Place theinside clip on the groove end of the panel along thealuminium keel and then place the tongue end of the nextpanel. Continue installing rows of panels by insertingthe tongue into groove of the earlier inserted panel andprogressively installing inside clips into the next keel tillthe actual height is achieved. Finish off the edges usingwooden moulding of matching colour . Installation to becarried out by Trained Installation Team and installationshould be carried out as per Recommended Procedure. |
