All the materials should got approved by the Executive Engineer before use on works. |
| 2 | Supplying and fixing of UPVC Fixed window with 8mm clear Toughened Glass from the profile the size of outer frame 60mm x 58mm and shutter profile are reinforcement with Gl/1mm 125GSM and 100% corrosion free, the profiles are multi chambered sections with wall thick of 2mm. The EPDM rubber (black colour) covered with over all the edges of frame and shutter the shutter will be provided. The corners and joints should be welded and cleaned. The glass it should not allow leakage of water even at most ranging storms. The window should be fixed to the wall with 100% packing with screws and silicon packing all round the frames. The window should be got approved from the Executive Engineer before use on work |
| 3 | Providing and fixing Acoustic Wall Panelling in channelledwood works perforated panels of width 192mm, thicknessof 15mm and length of 2400mm or as per required bythe Departmental Engineer made of a high density fibreboard with minimum 725 kg./m3 density substrate witha laminated facing as per the approved shade and finishand a melamine balancing layer on the reverse side. Theboards shall have a special peforation pattern where thevisible surface has a Helmholtz fluted perforation of 3mmwidth and 21mm of visible panel each. The edges ofthe panels shall be tongue-and-grooved to receive specialclips for installation. The back of the perforated panel shallhave sound absorbing non woven acoustical fleese havingNRC of 0.52. The panels shall be mounted on specialaluminium splines using clips provided by Armstrong andapproved by the Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 4 | Installation: Install aluminium box section (provided byothers) of section 50mm x 25mm or as approved by theEngineer-in-Charge on the solid wall horizontally usingscrews and plugs at spacing of 600mm centre to centre.Screw the aluminium extruded keel for channelled woodworks provided over the lowest and second aluminiumsection at an on centre distance of 600mm. Place theinside clip on the groove end of the panel along thealuminium keel and then place the tongue end of the nextpanel. Continue installing rows of panels by insertingthe tongue into groove of the earlier inserted panel andprogressively installing inside clips into the next keel tillthe actual height is achieved. Finish off the edges usingwooden moulding of matching colour . Installation to becarried out by Trained Installation Team and installationshould be carried out as per Recommended Procedure. |
