8Rolling and consolidating formation surface in cutting with power roller exceeding 8 tonne but not exceeding 12 tonne all as directed by Engr- in- Charge.
9M & L for laying and compacting 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) Granular Sub-Base Course (GSB), Grade I, conforming to Table 400-1 of MoRTH Specifications for Road and Bridge Works, 2013, in a single layer over compacted subgrade, using natural sand, crushed gravel, crushed stone, crushed slag or combination thereof, of specified grading. Material shall be mechanically mixed, spread and levelled by motor grader and compacted with 80–100 kN static weight vibratory roller to achieve minimum 98% of MDD, including consolidation to required line, level, gradient and camber, with finished surface tolerances as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH, complete as specified and directed.
10M & L for laying and compacting 225 mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM), laid in three layers of 75 mm each, conforming to MoRTH Specifications for Road and Bridge Works, 2013, comprising clean, crushed and graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, manufactured in WMM plant, spread by sensor paver and compacted with 80–100 kN static weight vibratory roller, including consolidation to required line, level, gradient and camber. Finished surface tolerances shall be as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH Specifications for Road and Bridge Works, 2013, complete as specified and directed.
11M&L for preparing by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc on WMM/WBM surfaces complete all as specified and directed.
12M & L for applying priming/tack coat with bitumen primer of bitumen grade VG-10 at the rate of 10Kg/10 Sqm complete all as specified and as directed.
13M&L for premixed bituminous macadam (consolidated thickness 50mm or less) with 4 % binder content by weight of total mix using bitumen VG-30 laid, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller by using hot mix plant & mechanical paver finisher complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE: 1. The actual binder content for BM used shall be as per optimised content based on approved job mix formula irrespective of what ever indicated in Schedule Item.2. Price adjustment shall be done on MINUS side only @ 55.00 per KG (without considering the permissible tolerance on minus side) with reference to binder content indicated Schedule Item.
14M & L for bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC), 40 mm thick consolidated thickness (using bitumen grade VG-30),with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using hot mix plant and mechanical paver finisher & rolling complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE: 1. The actual binder content for SDAC used shall be as per optimised content based on approved job mix formula irrespective of what ever indicated in Schedule Item2. Price adjustment shall be done on MINUS side only @ 55.00 per KG (without considering the permissible tolerance on minus side) with reference to binder content indicated Schedule Item.
15M & L for applying priming/tack coat with bitumen primer of bitumen grade VG-10 at the rate of 2.5 Kg/10 Sqm complete all as specified and as directed.
16Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without groovesthickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and directed.
17M & L for manufacture, supply and fixing of one No. 900 mm diameter circular retroreflective regulatory sign board, fabricated from 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, with the complete front face covered with high-intensity, encapsulated-lens type retroreflective sheeting of Grade A. The letters, numerals, symbols, border, colours and layout of the sign shall conform to the latest applicable edition of IRC:67. The aluminium sheet shall be securely riveted to an MS angle iron frame of 40 × 40 × 4 mm. The frame and sign board shall be securely fixed to one No. MS angle iron post of size 50 × 50 × 4 mm and 4000 mm overall length, by welding/bolting with suitable stiffening and anti-theft/tamper-proof fixing arrangements. The exposed rear surface of the aluminium sheet shall be provided with suitable primer and minimum two coats of approved epoxy paint. The MS frame and post shall be thoroughly cleaned and provided with suitable anti-corrosive primer and minimum two coats of approved synthetic enamel paint. The item shall include all materials, fabrication, cutting, drilling, riveting, welding, fasteners, anti-theft devices, transportation, erection, alignment and fixing complete in all respects as specified and directed.Note: PCC/RCC foundation for the MS post, including excavation, shall be measured and paid for separately.
18M & L for manufacture, supply and fixing of one No. retroreflective cautionary/warning sign board of equilateral triangular shape, each side 900 mm, fabricated from 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, with the complete front face covered with high-intensity retroreflective sheeting of the specified type, conforming to the applicable requirements of ASTM D4956, with colour scheme, bilingual message, letters, symbols, border and layout conforming to the latest applicable edition of IRC:67 and as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. The retroreflective sheeting shall be firmly bonded to the aluminium substrate using the adhesive system recommended by the sheeting manufacturer and secured with suitable aluminium alloy rivets at maximum 200 mm centres to an MS angle iron back-support frame of 25 × 25 × 3 mm, including suitable theft-resistant/tamper-proof fixing arrangements. The sign board, including bilingual message/legend plate, wherever required, shall be mounted on one No. vertical MS Tee section of size 50 × 50 × 6 mm and 3650 mm overall length, using two Nos. MS angle cleats of size 35 × 35 × 5 mm, securely welded to the Tee section and sign-board frame. The vertical Tee section shall be provided with an MS base plate of size 100 × 100 × 5 mm, securely welded at the bottom, with all necessary holes, bolts, nuts, washers and other fixing accessories.All exposed steelwork shall be thoroughly cleaned and provided with one coat of zinc chromate primer followed by minimum two coats of approved synthetic enamel paint, with the vertical MS Tee support painted in black and white. The rear face of the aluminium sheet shall be provided with suitable primer followed by minimum two coats of approved epoxy paint. The item shall include all materials, fabrication, cutting, drilling, welding, riveting, message/legend, fasteners, anti-theft devices, painting, transportation, erection, alignment and fixing, including all leads and lifts, complete in all respects as per drawings, specifications and as directed.Note: PCC/RCC foundation for the vertical MS Tee support, if required, shall be measured and paid for separately
19S & F solar reflective cat eye of metal body alloy, size 100 × 100 × 20 mm, with PAMA strip lens reflector, Model No. DA 972.0, including MS stud of suitable size, fixed as per manufacturer’s instructions, complete as specified and directed.
20S & F solar cat eye of aluminium alloy construction, 100% waterproof design as per IP65, size 125 × 125 × 25 mm with 65 mm shank, comprising high-efficiency monocrystalline solar panel of 2.4 V/0.3 W, one Ni-Cd rechargeable battery of 1.2 V/1600 mA and super-bright LED of 10,000–18,000 mcd intensity, complete as per manufacturer’s instructions, all as specified and directed.
21S & F metal tubular delineator comprising ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos. 65 mm dia highly reflective PMMA reflectors, mounted on 45/50 mm dia MS pipe of 600 mm height, duly powder coated, with thermoplastic elastomer bands and 3 Nos. green, red and yellow reflective radium tape strips of 25 mm width, including anti-theft steel net for protection of reflectors and embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150 × 150 × 300 mm) Type B1, complete as specified and directed.
22M & L for manufacturing, supplying and fixing retroreflective overhead informatory road signage/boards, made of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face fully covered with high intensity encapsulated lens type heat-activated retroreflective sheeting conforming to Type-III of ASTM-D-4956-01, with letters, borders etc. as per IRC:67-2001, in silver white on blue background, fixed to the substrate with pressure-sensitive adhesive conforming to Class-II of ASTM-D-4956-01 and secured to structural framework with suitable aluminium alloy rivets or bolts and nuts at 300 mm c/c along the periphery and in two vertical rows, including theft-resistant measures. Backside of aluminium sheet shall be painted with two or more coats of grey epoxy paint over appropriate primer. Rate shall include rounding off corners, lowering structural framework from gantry, fixing and erecting in position, complete as per drawings, specification and directed. Structural framework including MS plate shall be measured separately; only rectangular area of aluminium sheet shall be measured for payment.Note : Structural steel work and foundation for overhead board shall be measured and paid separately.
23M & L for 100mm thick moorum filling spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber as in berms complete all as specified and as directed.
24M & L for preparing bituminous road surfaces and providing 2.5 mm thick hot-applied thermoplastic road markings, including centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows and the like, not exceeding 10 cm wide, using approved colour thermoplastic road marking paint conforming to BS 3262:1989, applied by special applicator machine, including all preparation and application as per manufacturer’s instructions, complete as specified and directed.
25M&L Plain cement concrete (1:4:8) type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.
26M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 as in concrete bed to drain pipes including packing and haunching against the side of pipes after they are laid and tested for 600 mm pipe.
27S&F 600 mm bore Reinforced concrete pipes, class NP2, laid and jointed complete with collars all as specified and as directed.
28M&L Precast cement concrete block masonry with solid blocks of type C-1, 1:3:6 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate), exc 10cm in width and setting in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.
29M&L Plain Cement Concrete (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in benching, coping and the like including necessary form work and finished smooth without using extra cement including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, complete all as specified and as directed.
30M&L for rendering 10 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surface in cement mortar 1:4 finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.
31M & L for preparing new plastered wall surfaces and applying two or more coats of 100% premium acrylic emulsion exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted), having VOC less than 50 g/litre, UV, alkali, fungal and dirt resistance, conforming to IS 15489:2004, with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/10 m², over and including one coat of exterior primer @ 0.90 litre/10 m², complete as specified and directed.
32M&L Returning, filling in any kind of soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as specified and directed.
33Supply only Moorum brought from outside MD Land.
34M & L for forming embankments by raising or lowering earth, spreading in layers not exceeding 30 cm thick, watering, ramming/rolling with power roller of 8–12 tonne capacity and finishing to required size and shape, for heights not exceeding 1.5 m above base, complete as specified and directed.
35S & F hooded safety convex mirror of 800 mm diameter, manufactured from polycarbonate reflective mirror, complete with ABS body, adjustable swivel mounting arrangement and brackets, connected/fixed to a 50 mm diameter post/pole of 2.0 m length, including embedding of the post/pole below ground level; including excavation, providing and laying M15 grade PCC using 20 mm graded stone aggregate for foundation of size 300 mm × 300 mm × 450 mm, including fixing, alignment, backfilling, making good the disturbed surface and all incidental works, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge
36M&L for RCC M-30 grade design mix concrete using 20 mm graded stone aggregate in foundations including rafts, footings, foundation beams, plinth beams, bases for columns, basement slabs, under-reamed piles and mass concrete, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
37M&L for providing and laying RCC of M-30 grade design mix concrete using 20 mm graded stone aggregate in columns, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
38Supply and fix 10mm dia and over, Fe 500D/550D CRS TMT bars cut to length bend to shape required including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips in Footing/raft footing, beams, columns, slabs, lintels etc.
39Supply and fix 5mm dia and over upto and including 10mm dia, Fe 500D/550D CRS TMT bars cut to length bend to shape required including cranking bending etc as in stirrups, spacers and binders.
40M & L for form work to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams; and similar work; vertical or to batter of fair finished surface.
41M&L for supplying, providing, fabricating, hoisting, erecting and fixing in position structural steel work comprising trusses, trussed purlins and other similar structural members, including all necessary bracing, gusset plates, cleats, stiffeners and other connection components, as per detailed designs and drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge; including cutting, drilling, welding and making of riveted, bolted and/or welded connections, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
42M&L preparation of new untreated steel surface any description over 10cm width or girth not otherwise described and applying two coats of anti corrosive paint over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified.
43Area Drainage
44M&L Plain Cement Concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in surface channels, drains and similar works etc, complete all as specified and directed.
45M & L for extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete, using ex- tra cement, including forms, moulds, mi- tred/stopped ends etc.

75M & L for supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 20 m high hot-dip galvanised polygonal steel High Mast Lighting System, complete with mast shaft, mast head assembly, luminaire carriage suitable for mounting 9 Nos. LED flood light luminaires in symmetrical arrangement, stainless steel wire rope suspension system, double-drum motorised winch, trailing cables, feeder pillar, aviation obstruction light, lightning protection finial, earthing arrangement, anchor bolt assembly and RCC foundation, complete as specified below:
76(a) Mast Shaft: Polygonal, continuously tapered shaft fabricated from high tensile steel conforming to BS EN 10025 Grade S355, formed from plasma-cut and folded plates and longitudinally welded by qualified GMAW/SAW procedures. Shaft sections shall be joined by taper-fit friction joints with minimum overlap of 1.5 times the diameter at joints. Door opening shall be suitably reinforced and provided with vandal-resistant locking arrangement. Shaft shall be connected to flange by full-strength butt welds with supplementary gussets. Complete mast shall be hot-dip galvanised.(b) Mast Head Assembly: Complete three-pulley system with non-corrodible pulleys, self-lubricating bush bearings and stainless steel spindles suitable for wire ropes and multicore flexible cables, with provision for separation of cables and wire ropes. Assembly shall include integral sleeve, guides, stops for docking luminaire carriage and weatherproof hot-dip galvanised canopy.(c) Luminaire Carriage: Fabricated from ERW steel pipes serving as electric conduits, with cable entry holes, junction box mounting brackets, fixing arms and plates, and bolted flanges for removal from erected mast. Carriage shall be provided with suitable buffer arrangement to prevent damage to mast finish during movement.(d) Winch: Self-supporting and self-lubricating, oil-bath type, grooved double-drum winch with gear ratio of 53:1, suitable for motorised operation, complete with all accessories required for raising and lowering the luminaire carriage.(e) Suspension System: Stainless steel Grade 316/304 wire ropes of 7/19 (6/19 WSC) construction, complete with stainless steel thimbles, terminals and suitable clamps to prevent entanglement of wire ropes and cables.(f) Electrical System: Multicore flexible power cables with EPR insulation, PCP sheathing and cotton braiding or equivalent PVC insulated and sheathed cables, complete with suitable cable glands, plugs, sockets, weatherproof cast aluminium/HDG junction box at luminaire carriage and base compartment MCB isolation arrangement. Provision shall be made for testing luminaires at bottom level wherever applicable.(g) Earthing and Lightning Protection: 12 mm dia GI earth bolt on door stiffener in base compartment, single-spike lightning finial at the highest point of mast head and connection of mast body to earth through the door stiffener.(h) Aviation Obstruction Light: Low-intensity LED aviation obstruction light conforming to ICAO Annex-14 Type-A, comprising pressure die-cast aluminium housing, red UV-stabilised polycarbonate dome, super-bright red LEDs, internal wiring, terminal block and mounting accessories, suitable for 230 V, 50 Hz AC supply and minimum IP65 protection.(j) Power Assembly: Power supply from feeder pillar to mast base compartment through 4 Core × 10 sq mm aluminium conductor armoured cable and separate supply for motorised raising/lowering system through 4 Core × 1.5 sq mm copper conductor armoured cable, including routing through foundation, glands, lugs, terminations and all accessories.(k) Foundation: Complete foundation bolt set comprising anchor plate and high-tensile studs, with exposed studs, nuts and washers hot-dip galvanised. RCC foundation, including foundation design by OEM, shall be suitable for the High Mast and environmental wind speed of 200 km/hr, as approved/directed by GE. Carriage shall be provided with suitable buffer arrangement to prevent damage to mast finish during movement.(d) Winch: Self-supporting and self-lubricating, oil-bath type, grooved double-drum winch with gear ratio of 53:1, suitable for motorised operation, complete with all accessories required for raising and lowering the luminaire carriage.(e) Suspension System: Stainless steel Grade 316/304 wire ropes of 7/19 (6/19 WSC) construction, complete with stainless steel thimbles, terminals and suitable clamps to prevent entanglement of wire ropes and cables.(f) Electrical System: Multicore flexible power cables with EPR insulation, PCP sheathing and cotton braiding or equivalent PVC insulated and sheathed cables, complete with suitable cable glands, plugs, sockets, weatherproof cast aluminium/HDG junction box at luminaire carriage and base compartment MCB isolation arrangement. Provision shall be made for testing luminaires at bottom level wherever applicable.(g) Earthing and Lightning Protection: 12 mm dia GI earth bolt on door stiffener in base compartment, single-spike lightning finial at the highest point of mast head and connection of mast body to earth through the door stiffener.(h) Aviation Obstruction Light: Low-intensity LED aviation obstruction light conforming to ICAO Annex-14 Type-A, comprising pressure die-cast aluminium housing, red UV-stabilised polycarbonate dome, super-bright red LEDs, internal wiring, terminal block and mounting accessories, suitable for 230 V, 50 Hz AC supply and minimum IP65 protection.(j) Power Assembly: Power supply from feeder pillar to mast base compartment through 4 Core × 10 sq mm aluminium conductor armoured cable and separate supply for motorised raising/lowering system through 4 Core × 1.5 sq mm copper conductor armoured cable, including routing through foundation, glands, lugs, terminations and all accessories.(k) Foundation: Complete foundation bolt set comprising anchor plate and high-tensile studs, with exposed studs, nuts and washers hot-dip galvanised. RCC foundation, including foundation design by OEM, shall be suitable for the High Mast and environmental wind speed of 200 km/hr, as approved/directed by GE.
