Name of Work:- REPAIR/ REPLACEMENT/ SERVICING OF HT SUPPLY SYSTEM INCLUDING REPAIRS TO HT CABLES, OIL CIRCUIT BREAKERS, HT PANELS AND CONNECTED WORKS AT 512 ABWS & CAFVD TECH AREA IN AGE E/M-II UNDER GE(C) KHADKI.

1Excavation in trenches n. exc. 1.5 mtr in wide and n. exc. 1.5 mtr in depth for laying of underground cable and getting out in hard / dense soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
2Returning, filling in excavated soil in trenches including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n. exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
3Removing of excavted soil to a distance n. exc. 50 mtr and deposited where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
4Dismantling of stone sett paving laid bedded and pointed in cement mortar of any description or thickness complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
5Demolition of cement concrete in ground floors and paving n exc 15 cm thickness ( below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
6M&L for cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 ( using 40 mm graded agg) as in sub base for stone sett paving complete all as specified and directed upto 100 mm thick finished even and fair complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
7M&L for stone sett flooring with stone setts of size 200 to 150 mm long,150 to 200 mm wide and 150 mm deep and sides dressed, bedded in cement mortar 1:3 joints 20 mm thick grouted in cement mortar 1:2 with an admixture of metallic floor harder 5% by weight of cement and struck flush complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
8All as item no 7.00 above but except stone complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
9M&L for flush pointing 20mm thich to stone sett paving any decription in cement mortar 1:3 with an admixture of metallic floor harder 5% by weight of cement complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
10Removal of debris (concrete, broken stone etc.) to out side defence land (distance exceeding 1.5 KM but 5KM from the site) an depositing where complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
11Supply, laid in trench/ fixed with surface of wall / roof / bore etc, jointing, thimbling and glanding in suitable size , testing connecting HT XLPE cable insulated, screened, PVC bedded galvanised steel strip or wire armored electric power cable (heavy duty) with alumunium conductor 22 KV (E), grade cross section area 120 Sqmm of 3 core complete including lugs, thimbles etc with taking down old unsv cable complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
12Supply, laid in trench/ fixed with surface of wall / roof / bore etc, jointing, thembling and glanding in suitable size , testing HT XLPE cable insulated, screened, PVC bedded galvanised steel strip or wire armored electric power cable (heavy duty) with alumunium conductor 11 KV (E), grade cross section area 95 Sqmm of 3 core complete including lugs, thimbles etc with taking down old unsv cable complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.Note for Item No. 11 & 12:- (a) Necessry tests to be conducted at site before and after laying of HT cable and reading shall be recorded jointly and test report to be submitted in triplicate to the Engineer-in-Charge. The cost of the nut,bolt, washer, lugs, thimble etc for the same shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted above.
13M&L for Boring of holes of 140 mm dia under the road/hard standing with trench less technology boring method upto 2 mtr below the surface for laying cable line complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : All equipment & Machinery required to carry out the work will be provided by the contractor (If due to any obstruction during boring, reboring has to be done the same will be done by the contractor at his own cost the rates deem to cover the same).
14M&L for laying double wall corrugated (DWC) high density polythene pipes size 135 mm outer dia having corrugation on the outer wall and plain surface on the inner wall confirming to IS 16205 & 14930 (Part-I and II) for protection of underground cable with all fittings such as clamps, coupler etc. laid in trenches/roads/nallah or fixed along wall/ poles or laid under floor (including cutting floor/road and making to match with existing adjouning surface etc. for cable protection complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note-excavatoin and earth work measured and paid separately .
15M&L for cleaning, servicing, overhauling of HT vacuum circuit breaker (HT VCB) / SF6 breaker including indoor/outdoor control panel of capacity 630/800A/1250A, 22 KV, 350 MVA for servicing, repairs, replacement of defective/worn out parts / components and reassembling complete comprising of the following including testing and commissioning and make functional as to the entire satisfaction of complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.Make of HTCBs :- Powercare Electrical ,ABB Note : (a) Dismantling the HTCB from the enclosure consisting of vacuum interrupter assembly, socket contacts , checking the serviceability of the parts carefully including cleaning with suitable chemical agents, adjustments, replacement of defective/worn out parts and re-assembling the unit complate. (b) Cleaning the external surface of bushings with CTC or Liquid ammonia to remove the accumulation of dirt or any other deposits. Inspection of bushings and make sure that vibration due to breaker operation have not caused the bushings to move resulting misallignment of contacts. (c) Checking the vaccum interrupter assembly and contacts. Checking the allignment of contacts and setting the contact surfaces to bare firm and uniform pressure and adjust the gap as per manufacterurs tolerance. Badly potted contacts needs to be replaced. (d) Checking the breaker bushing of bus bar and circuit side inspecting the internal surface carefully for any charging/trackings,replacement of bushings.
16(e) Dismantling the spring charging mechanism of the HTCB, checking the operations of the closing/tripping through closing/tripping coils electrically as well as manualy charging including cleaning adjustments complete for smoothly functioning. (f) Checking the condition of the spring charging motor along with gear box including servicing to the motor commulator bushes, lubrication of bearing surfaces etc. (g) Checking the ratchet wheel assembly, driving and charging parts for smooth functioning (h) Checking the operating mechanism of the breaker and ensure its operation freely through entire stroke. (j) Inspecting all bolts, nuts, pins and coller pins are in place and they are tight and opened properly. (k) Inspection, cleaning and relubrication of circuit breaker
17M&L for cleaning, servicing, overhauling of HT oil circuit breaker (HT MOCB) of capacity 800/400A.22 KV, 350 MVA for servicing, repairs, replacement of defective/worn out parts / compounents and reassembling complete comprising of the following including testing and commissioning and make functional as to the entire satisfaction of complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : (a) Dismatling the HTCB by separating the upper chamber consisting of contacts and cross bar assembly from the oil tank, checking the serviceability of the following parts carefully including cleaning, adjustment, replacement of dffective/worn out parts (excluding parts) re-assembling the unit complete (b) Drain out the oil from the tank, cleaning the tank by removing the sediments at the bottom, checking the condition of the tank liners and gaskets including replacement of defective gasket/tank liners. Testing of oil, if shows signs of moisture, carbonisation or dirt filtering and testing and replacement if necessary. Ensuring the oil guage indicating properly the actual oil level. Checking the condition of all gaskets to ensure that they are sealed properly and arrest any leakages by replaceing the gaskets or sealing the box outside and inside with necessery sealing material etc
18(c) Checking the operating mechanism of the breaker including cleaning, lubrication to all moving parts of the breaker mechanism like hold on catch assembly, trip bridge, trip lever and assembly, charging motor, belt, latchgear and worm gear assembly clutch shaft etc for proper operation both electrically and manualy. Checking the operating mechanism of the breaker and ensure its operation freely through entire stroke. Parts which shows excessive wear and tear to be replaced or adjusted as per manufacterurs tolerance. (d) Checking of operating voltage at mechanism terminals and tripping arrangement for positive tripping. Contacts to be examined for their condition and operation. Dress the pitted contactcts and replace if necessary. (e) Checking the raise /lower mechanism in three position(Draw out,test,service) and lubrication to the moving parts. (f) Review the adjustment of all pressure switches and lockout devices. (g) Inspecting all bolts, nuts, pins and coller pins are in place and they are tight and opened properly. (h) Inspection, cleaning and relubrication of circuit breaker (i) Checking the auxiliary contact assembly, cleaning/replacement of contacts, adjustment of operating lever and lubrication to moving parts and apply petroleum jelly to the contacts.
19NOTEs for item No 15.00 & 16.00:- (a) Cost of additional hardwares like bolts,nuts, washers, spring washers, petrolium jelly or any other item not included in the list of supply only spare parts etc, to put the breaker in serviceable condition is deemed to be included in the rate quoted . (b) The major spare parts required to be replaced are measured and paid separetly. (c) Contractor should visit the site before quoting the rates. Any claim for execution of essential extra item during servicing/ ovehauling will not be entertained.
