1Supply and laying of UG cable (16 sq. mm × 4 Core Aluminium Cable) from the New Ticket Counter at Rajagiri Fort to the Elephant Tank Motor, including the cost and conveyance of all materials, labour, tools and equipment, and applicable taxes, complete in all respects.The work shall include excavation of trenches by mechanical/manual means to the required width and depth for laying the cable, including dressing of the sides, levelling and ramming of the trench bottom, getting out the excavated earth, laying of the UG cable, and refilling the trench with the excavated earth in layers not exceeding 20 cm in thickness, including watering and thorough compaction of each layer by ramming, and disposal of surplus excavated earth as directed, within a lead of 50 m.The work shall also include cable laying charges and electrician charges for connecting the UG cable from the panel board to the Elephant Tank Motor, including all necessary connections, terminations and accessories, complete as per site conditions and the instructions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
