6Dismantling wall and ceiling boards (fibre, pulp, insulation, etc.) or insulation boards/slabs/ blankets, any thickness, including cover fillets from any position complete including disposal of unserviceable rubbish outside cantt area all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.
7Dismantling existing waterproofing treatment on roofs hessian cloth base, mambrane or any type including including disposal of unservicable rubbish outside Cantt area complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.
8Dismantling existing Brick tiles or terracing tiles, single layer on roofs including disposal of unservicable rubbish outside Cantt area complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.
9Demolition of Mud phuska in roofs, any thickness,including plastering and leeping (whether full thickness removed or only a part thereof) in any position including disposal of unservicable rubbish outside Cantt area complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.
10Disconnecting existing tanks of capacity exc 250 ltr but not exc 500 ltr , setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning, etc. and hoisting if required reconnecting and re-fixing in position. (Cleaning repairing, etc. measured separately) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
11Disconnecting existing tanks of capacity exc 500 ltr but not exc 1000 ltr , setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning, etc. and hoisting if required reconnecting and re-fixing in position. 25Cutting chases in stone walls, pinning in, making good to facings where required and pointing in cement mortar 1:3 to ends or edges of landings, steps, cills, sunshades, shelves, lintels, etc.; and cutting chases for concealed water tubing or concealed conduit wiring etc., and making good, cutting not exc 10 cm girth and complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
26Installation of rebar by using Hilti hammer drill with carbide drill bit,chemical dispensing gun for inserting RE-500V3 chemical upto minimum depth of (10 x dia of bar ) as in chajja,beam,lintel,column slab and parapet at any height before inserting an anchor bar.Hole must be free from dust debris,water,oil grease complete all as per manufacturers instructions.Note :- (i) Reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately.(ii) Rates are inclusive of form work and safety measures.(iii) Dia of bar 10/12 mm
27Treatment of efflorescence to walls affected by capillary action and moisture ingress, including identification of affected areas, removal of loose salts by dry brushing/scraping, thorough surface cleaning, and washing with clean water or taking down completely old plaster or any type of treatment. Applying approved anti-efflorescence /water-repellent chemical treatment (silane/siloxane or equivalent) to block capillary pores and prevent further water migration through masonry.The work includes sealing of cracks, joints, and honeycombed areas with approved polymer-modified mortar or injection grout wherever required, surface neutralization, and drying prior to treatment. Treatment shall be applied by brush/roller/spray in multiple coats as per manufacturer’s specifications,ensuring effective penetration and complete coverage.The rate includes all materials, labour, tools, plant, scaffolding, surface preparation, protection of adjoining surfaces, curing/drying time, and completion of the work, complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
2850 mm thick guniting in patches over the required areas on **RCC/PCC columns, beams, stairs, lintels, retaining walls, sunshades, roofing slabs, including areas under chicken wire mesh, of all sizes and shapes, at all heights from existing ground floor and at all locations.Guniting shall be carried out using cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement : 2 sand) under pressure of 2.0 to 2.8 kg/cm², after removing damaged and loose/spalled concrete by chipping, cleaning the surface and removing dust.The work includes application of one coat of rust converter (KP-100 or equivalent) over exposed reinforcement wherever necessary, providing and tying in position 25 mm × 25 mm × 12-gauge dia MS welded wire mesh or smaller size, fixed over the treated surface ready to receive guniting/grout.The item includes proper curing for 10 days, removal of loose concrete, surface preparation, and finishing. It also includes 5 mm to 10 mm thick plastering in CM 1:4 to match existing surfaces, finished even and smooth, including curing for 10 days.Further including two coats of cement-based paint over one coat of primer, complete.The rate includes all labour charges, hire of tools and plant, machinery, cost of consumables, scaffolding, protective equipment, plant floors, pipelines, vessels, etc., required to carry out guniting works in plant areas, **removal of debris outside MOD land, disposal in low-lying areas, and leveling as directed, up to 2nd floor height, complete as specified and directed by the **Engineer-in-Charge.
29Raised pointing to random or polygonal rubble, uncoursed or brought upto courses in cement mortar 1:4 etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
30Plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in cement concrete in roof kerbs or mud stops,back filling of chowkats, holdfasts, coping, bed plates, cills, benching etc, including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and troating, including using necessary use and waste of formwork for fair finished surface complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
31Plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-2,using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete, sub base etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
3225 mm thick Cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-0, using 12.5 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in sub base of floor and pavings etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
33Plain cement concrete (1:5:10), using 40mm graded stone aggregates, using Liquid water proofing compound @ 200ml per 50 kg weight of cement as in padding concrete to sunken floor, Coving/ gola to junbction of the floor and vertical walls including chamfering on edges, complete all as specified and directed.Note:- waterproofing compound shall be measured and paid separately.
34Reinforced Cement Concrete nominal mix 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in slabs supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, landings, balconies, canopies, deck slabs and in shelves and the like complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
35Rendering 5 mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 as in ceiling/soffits of slabs/Chajja/ Sunshade finishing the plastered surface even & smooth without using extra cement etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
36Providing and fixing Galvanized iron (GI) chicken wire mesh (hexagonal wire netting) of approved brand and quality, 24 gauge (0.56mm) wire diameter, max 20mm x 20mm aperture, over cracks in masonry or at junctions of concrete and brick work components (columns/ beams meeting walls) prior to plastering. Mesh stretched tight and securely fixed spanning minimum 150mm or either side of joint (total 300mm width) with GI nails/ staples and washers at intervals not exceeding 300mm C/C complete including material, labour, scaffolding and surface preparation as per standard engineering practice.
37Rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4, on other than fair faces of brickwork or concrete surfaces in patches exceeding 3 sqmtr each upto 8mtr of height mixed with water proofing compound finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE: Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately.
38Rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 on other than fair faces of brickwork or concrete surfaces finished even and fair without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
39Supply only liquid water proofing compound ISI Marked complete all as specified and directed.
40Applying evenly a tack coat of industrial bitumen 85/25 at the rate of 1.2 kg per sq.m over cleaned and dry roof surface including parapet etc complete, all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
41Water proofing treatment on roof/ sunken portion using APP polymeric ( on roof/sunken portion) water proofing membrane minimum 3 mm thick and weighting not less than 3.0 Kg/Sqm black finish reinforced with non-woven polyster matt wt not less than 150 gms/Sqm with thermo fusable finish laid over compatible bitumen primer at the rate of 0.40 Ltr/Sqm over cleaned surface including parapet, torching over laps with a propane or butan gas torch with a over lap of 100 mm at the side and 150 mm at the ends and sealing all as per manufacturers instructions incl wire brushing and cleaning the top surfaces of concrete, roof surfaces etc. with water including flashings and junction of parapets etc complete all as specified and directed.
42Water proofing treatment to sunken portion of WCs, bath room etc. By applying cement slurry mixed with Acrylic based polymer modified cementious composite compound coating of make as approved by GE:-(a) Roughening of surfaces of old concrete floor/slab by wire brushing, sweeping, cleaning and washing down to remove all loose dust etc, and brushing neat cement slurry @ 3.00 kg/Sqm on floor/roof surface(b) 15mm thick screed plaster on RCC slab in cement mortar 1:3 in and including using water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement and finishing the surface even and fair without using extra cement .(c) First layer of slurry of cement @ 0.488Kg/Sq.m. This followed layer will be allowed to air curing for 4 hrs.(d) Second layer of slurry of cement @0.242 Kg/Sq.m mixed with Acrylic based polymer modified cementious composite compound @ 0.126kg/sq.m. this layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hrs followed with water curing 48 hrs.
43Use & waste of formwork to soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floor slabs, landings and similar work; not exceeding 200mm thick (Horizontal or sloping) etc. (rough finished flat surfaces of concrete) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
44Use and waste of Formwork to Flat surface of chullah hoods, chajjas,troughs and similar items including troughs and similar items including edges complete all as specified and directed.
45Brick work with sub class 'B' bricks, class designation 75, old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6.00 metre mean radius built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
46Preparation of plastered or unplastered new surfaces of ceilings and applying two coats of white wash including preparation of surface complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
47(a) Scrapping and sanding with mechanical wall sander (having mechanical vacuum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of diameter of 7\\"/9\\" using a 80 grit sanding paper to make the surface free from dust, loose paint etc. by skilled labour complete all as directed.(b) Material and labour for two coats of wall care putty over the prepared wall surface @ 1kg per sqm by mixing the putty powder by adding water as per manufacturer instructions and mixing it in putty mixer with a capacity of mixing 40 kg putty in single go. The putty mixer should have variable speed functioning for preparation of smooth and lump free putty(c) Appliying one coat of waterproofing primer/ damp-proof primer @ 1 Itr per 50 sqft. diluted with 30 % by water to be applied using roller.(d) Allow 4-6 hrs to dry the surface for painting of subsequent coats.(e) Material and labour for applying two coats of interior premium acrylic emulsion paint on New wall plastered surface using roller and paint usage and certified by paint manufacturer and as mentioned in PS and accessories for applying acrylic emulsion should be able to hard-to-reach areas and penetration of acrylic emulsion on the surface at any height complete all as specified and directed.
48(a) Complete removal of existing treatment by scrapping to prepare the surface even and smooth complete and sanding of the putty surface with mechanical wall sander (having mechanical vacuum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of diameteer of 7\\"/9\\" using a 80 grit sanding paper to make the surface free from dust by skilled labour.(b) Material and labour for two coats cement base wall care putty over the prepared wall surface @ 1kg per sqm by mixing the putty powder by adding water as per manufacturer instructions and mixing it in putty mixer with a capacity of mixing 40 kg putty in single go. The putty mixer should have variable speed functioning for preparation of smooth and lump free putty(c) Appliying two coats of dump shealth primer @ 1 Itr per 50 sqft. diluted with 30 % by water to be applied using roller.(d) Allow 4-6 hrs to dry the surface for painting of subsequent coats.(e) Material and labour for applying two coats of weather proof exterior emulsion paint(Ist quality) Apex on new wall using roller and paint usage and certified by paint manufacturer and as mentioned in PS and accessories for applying acrylic emulsion should be able to hard-to-reach area and penetration of acrylic emulsion on the surface at any height complete all as specified and directed.

The putty mixer should have variable speed functioning for preparation of smooth and lump free putty(c) Appliying one coat of waterproofing primer/ damp-proof primer @ 1 Itr per 50 sqft. diluted with 30 % by water to be applied using roller.(d) Allow 4-6 hrs to dry the surface for painting of subsequent coats.(e) Material and labour for applying two coats of weather guard exterior acrylic emulsion paint (Ist quality) on old wall plastered surface using roller and paint usage and certified by paint manufacturer and as mentioned in PS and accessories for applying acrylic emulsion should be able to hard-to-reach areas and penetration of acrylic emulsion on the surface at any height complete all as specified and directed.

The putty mixer should have variable speed functioning for preparation of smooth and lump free putty(c) Applying one coat of chalk whiting primer @ 1 Itr per 50 sqft. diluted with 30 % by water to be applied using roller.(d) Allow 4-6 hrs to dry the surface for painting of subsequent coats.(e) Material and labour for applying two coats of interior premium acrylic emulsion paint on New wall plastered surface using roller and paint usage and certified by paint manufacturer and as mentioned in PS and accessories for applying acrylic emulsion should be able to hard-to-reach areas and penetration of acrylic emulsion on the surface at any height complete all as specified and directed.
51Note for item no 47 to 50 : The work for periodical services shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidders shall include the same :-(a) Use of Scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles etc necessary for execution of work and protective measures.(b) Work in patches and in narrow / widths, bands, cornices, pilasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary.(c) Spreading and removing covering to doors, windows, floors, fittings etc to protect them from splashes.(d) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery , electric fittings , wirings etc. Drops and splashes of paint to be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.(e) Sample patch of 10 Sqm shall be prepared considering all the items of periodical and shall be got approved from GE prior to carrying out further work. (f) Guarantee :- The contractor shall furnish a guarantee certificate from approved make in favour of Garrison Engineer for the efficieny of the exterior emulsion paint for 5 years and interior emulsion paint for 3 years during the guarantee period.
52Material and labour for applying two coats of bitumen perimer for waterproofing over concrete surface @ 0.15 ltr per sqmtr, complete all as specified and directed.
53Preparation of new or previously untreated wooden surface of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of pink primer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
54Preparation of old painted wooden or wood based surface of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
55Preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
56Preparation of old painted steel & iron surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
57Chequered PCC factory made coloured tiles, ISI marked, 22 to 25 mm thick of size 400 mm x 400 mm, machine pressed and cut polished, Glossy finish on top and set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry and fabricated using grey cement & pigments. over and including 15 mm thick cement mortar (1:4) bedding joints grouted flush in cement mortar (1:3) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
58First quality Non - skid coloured Ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (square/ rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.11 sqm but not exceeding 0.18 sqm as in floors etc. set and jointed with 4 mm spacer and grouting the joint of flooring with epoxy grout mix of 0.70 kg of organic coated filler of desired shade (0.10kg of hardener and 0.20 kg of resin per kg in the ratio of 8:1:2 laid over and inculding 15 mm thick screed in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
59Vitrified ceramic tiles ultra charged 8- 10 mm thick (Square/ rectangular) polished, area of each tiles exceeding 0.42 Sqm but not exceeding 1.00 Sqm, in floor etc set and jointed with 4 mm spacer and grouting the joint of flooring with epoxy grout mix of organic coated filler of desired shade,hardener ,resin in the ratio of 8:1:2 laid over and including 15mm thick screed bedding layer in CM (1:6) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
60Glazed Ceramic tiles conforming to IS 15622 of size 600x300mm and 8-9 mm thickness of approved make, shade and design, laid over a base rendering of average 15mm thick cement mortar 1:4. Tiles shall be fixed using high-preformance polmer-modified tile adhesive conforming to IS 15477 type 1 (or type 2 if using large-format/vitrified-body glazed tiles) applied uniformly using a notched trowel, ensuring complete back-battering to achieve maximum coverage and prevent hollow voids. tiles shall be laid with a uniform 3mm joint width maintained accurately using PVC spacers. Joints shall be thoroughly cleaned of any oozong adhesive, dust or contaminants, and filled flush with heavy- duty, stain-free, water-resistant three-component epoxy grout of matching shade. rate shall include all surface preparation (including hacking or cleaning of the base concrete) mixing, application, curing, strict cleaning of tile surfaces to completely remove epozy residue, tools, tackles, scaffolding, equipment, materials and labour complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
61First quality Endura tiles good grip series 600 x 600 x 12 mm thick coloured as in floors etc. set and jointed with 4 mm spacer and grouting the joint of flooring with epoxy grout mix of 0.70 kg of organic coated filler of desired shade (0.10kg of hardener and 0.20 kg of resin per kg in the ratio of 8:1:2 laid over and inculding 15 mm thick screed in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
