4Bituminous Macadam For Profile Corrective CourseProviding and laying bituminous macadam using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled as per clauses 501.6 and 501.7 to achieve the desired compaction (Reference to MORT&H's specification clause 504).With Continuous Type HMP (60-90 TPH)for Grading 2 (19 mm nominal size)For Profile Corrective Course
5Open - Graded Premix SurfacingProviding, laying and rolling of open - graded premix surfacing of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using viscosity grade bitumen of approved grade to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a smooth wheeled tandem or other approved type roller 8-10 tonne capacity, finished to required level and grades (Reference to MORT&H's specification clause 510).Case - I: Mechanical method using approved grade Bitumen and HMP of appropriate capacity not less than 75 tonnes/hour
6Seal CoatProviding and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using. Type A and B seal coats (Reference to MORT&H's specification clause 511)Case - II : Type BProviding and laying of premix sand seal coat with HMP using approved crushed stone chipping and viscosity grade paving bitumen of suitable approved grade.
7Tack CoatProviding and applying tack coat with Cationic bitumen emulsion (RS1) complying with IS:8887 using emulsion pressure distributor on the prepared bituminous/granular /cement concrete pavement surface cleaned with mechanical broom and high pressure air jet (Reference to MORT&H's specification clause 503).(i) On Bituminous Surface @ 0.20kg - 0.3kg /sqm.
8Road Marking with Hot Applied Thermoplastic Compound with Reflectorising Glass Beads on Bituminous Surface Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35 .The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes (Reference to MORT&H's specification 803).
9Maintenance of Earth Shoulder (stripping excess soil) Stripping excess soil from the shoulder surface to achieve the approved level and compacting with plate compactor as per the requirement of MORT&H's specification 3003.
10Repairing Pot-holes with Bituminous Macadam (Grading - II, for compacted thickness of upto 75mm)Filling Pot Holes with Bituminous Macadam using Mobile Hot Mix plant (6-10 TPH) with approved crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder @3.4% by wt. of the total mix, transported to site and laid in the pot hole prepared before hand by cutting the edges to get a firm vertical face and by removing all the failed and loose materials including dust and applying tack coat evenly on the sides and on the surface as per specification, rolling the filled depression with 8-10 tonne smooth wheeled roller to achieve the desired compaction, including the cost and carriage of stone aggregates and bitumen, hire charges of machinery and equipment, cost of fuel and lubricants and wages of all operational staff, quality control except the cost of tack coat complete as perdirection of Engineer-in-charge. Payment to be made on the basis of the loose net volume of the stone aggregates used in the work.For Grading II19 mm nominal max
11Making filter with well graded 40 mm down ballasts and laying uniformly behind weep holes, below pitching on bed, side slopes including supply and carriage of all materials to site including preparing bed with earthwork up to 30 cm depth, where necessary and compacting with wooden mallet after laying to achieve designed section as per direction of the Engineer- in - Charge (measurements will be on finished work / in stack after deducting necessary void).)(a) Jhama ballast
12Cutting uprooting and clearing jungles including shrubs, water weeds, bushes, trees, plants, upto 30 cm. girth including removing as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
13Supplying Jhaw / Eucalyptus bullah piles at work site, including dressing and making one end pointed(i) 12.5 cm avg diameter Note: Diameter of pile to be measured at a distance of 1.5m from the thicker end.
14Labour for driving Jhaw / Eucalyptus bullah piles by monkey in all sorts of soil including hoisting and lacing piles in position, protecting the pile head with iron ring and cutting and shaping heads before and after driving and including hire and labour for necessary driving appliances and all tackles(a) Where boats are not necessary. (ii) 12.5 cm avg diameter Note:1) Payment to be made on the length driven into the ground. Diameter to be measured at 1.5m. from the thicker end.
15Supplying, fitting and fixing with iron nails half split bullah wailing pieces and cross pieces etc. complete with cost of all materials and carriage to site(a) Width of thinner end above 10 cm. and less than 15 cm. (i) Jhaw / Eucalyptus.
16Supplying Nylon cage netting 1metre x 1metre x 1metre size with knot having mesh size 17.5 cm x17.5 cm constructed with nylon thread (210 x 24) having tensile strength not less than 250Kg./sq.cm.including carriage, delivery and stacking at site inclusive of all taxes complete.
17Labour charges for dumping and placing in position properly filled in Nylon crates with filled in gunny/poly cement bags (minimum 25 nos. having capacity 50 kg ) with local earth or sand, sewing and tying the crate with nylon wire within a lead of 150 m. and all lifts in river slope or bed by cutting trenches upto 50 cms depth, if necessary, or by boat including cost of hire charges of boat, boatmen and other necessary equipments and also including cost of bags, carriage and charge of filling bags with earth/sand but excluding cost of nylon crate as per direction of the Engineer – in – Charge.
