36Providing and laying Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam with higher capacity batch type HMP using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading, premixed with Bituminous binder(VG-40) @4.5% by weight of total mix and filler,transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction and density as per MORTH specification clause No. 505 (MORT&H 2024 Rates taken from SOR2025-26)
37Providing and laying Bituminous concrete with higher capacity batch type hot mix plant using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading, premixed with Bituminous binder (VG-40) @5.4% by weight of total mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with paver finisher with sensor control to required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction and density as per specification, complete and as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge. as per MORT & H specification clause no. 507. 38Retro-Reflective Sheeting type-IV with 4 mm thick ACM Single Side Providing & fixing of reflective sign with a corrosion resistant 4 mm thick with 0.4 to 0.5 mm both side aluminium skin aluminium composite panel face to be fully covered with High Intensity prismatic sheeting type IV as per IRC-67:2012 retro reflective sheeting with back frame MS angle of 35x35x5 mm. Legends letters, numerals and borders etc. should be as per MoRTH specification No-801.3.7. The sheeting shall have a pressure-sensitive adhesive with the aggressive - tack type requiring no heat, solvent or other preparation for adhesion to a smooth clean surface, in a manner recommended by the sheeting manufacturer. The ACM (Aluminium Composite Materials) shall be fixed on Back frame MS Angle with riveting. Micro prismatic type IV Retro reflective sheeting confirming to ASTM 04956-09 shall be Pressure fixed. The Retro reflective sheeting shall be tested for a certificate of having the sheeting tested for coefficient of retro reflection, daytime colour and luminance, shrinkage, flexibility, liner removal, adhesion, impact resistance, specular gloss and fungus resistance, 3 years outdoor weathering and its having passed these tests shall be obtained from International/Government Laboratory/Institute by the manufacturer of the sheeting and in case the certificate is obtained from international condition, it should also be obtained from Indian condition within 3 years of launching of product by the manufacture in abroad. Alternatively, a certificate conforming to ASTM Specification (D 4956-09) on artificial accelerated weathering requirements from a reputed laboratory in India can be accepted provisionally. In such a situation, the Employer/Client, if so desires, could seek for a performance guarantee which would be released after receipt of certificate meeting the requirement of three years outdoor weathering of the sheeting as per IRC 67:2012 & Proof of the same Report shall be uploaded which quoting tender. The rate shall include all materials, labour, T&P, transportation, installation and Incidentals all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (SOR 2025-26 Ch.- 8 Sr.No. 10)
39Road Marking with Hot Applied Thermoplastic Compound with Reflectorising Glass Beads on Bituminous Surface. Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick, including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35-2015. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes. (SOR 2025-26 Ch.-8 Sr.No. 2)
40Reflective Raised Pavement Markers (Cat Eye Road Stud) Supply and fixing of raised pavement marker with Made of Plastic body of RPM/Road Stud shall be moulded from ASA (Acrylic Styrene Acrylonitrile) or HIPS (High-Impact Polystyrene) or Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) or Any other suitable material approved by the Engineer. The Marker shall support a load of 13,635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The Reflective panels shall consist of number of lenses containing single or dual prismatic cubes capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face. Lenses shall be moulded of methyl methacrylate conforming to ASTM D788 or equivalent.The slop or retro-reflecting surface shall preferably be 35+1-5 degree to base and the area of each retro-reflecting surface shall not be less than 13.00 sq.cm. The marker height shall not be less than 10 mm and shall not exceed 130 mm. Width shall not exceed 130 mm. The base of the marker shall be flat within 1.3 mm. all road studs shall be legibly marked with the name, trade or other means of identification of the manufacture. Epoxy installations, excess adhesive around the edge of the marker, excess adhesive on the pavement and adhesive on the exposed surfaces of the markers shall be immediately removed. The contractor shall submit a two year warranty for satisfactory field performance including stipulated retro-reflectance of the reflecting panel, to the Engineer. In addition, a two year warranty for satisfactory field performance of the finished road marker shall also be given by the contractor who carries out the work of fixing of reflective road markers. In case the markers are displaced, damaged, get worn out or lose their reflectivity compared to stipulated standards, the contractor would be required to replace all such markers within 15 days of the intimation from the Engineer, at his own cost.
