( The work must be completed using a class-approved agency) |

All paints must be of approved, premium-quality marine alkyd types from renowned manufacturers (such as International, Hempel, Jotun, etc.). The quality and DFT of each layer must be verified and certified in the presence of the paint manufacturers representative and the department officials in charge before the commencement or continuation of subsequent coats. All works are to be completed as per the directions of the departmental officers. |

| 22 | Dismantling the existing Main Engines exhaust pipeline from the engine and replacing the line using 100 mm (4 Inch) nominal diameter MS SCH 40 pipes, aligning and rigidly fixing the assembly in position using suitable nuts, bolts, and gaskets, and providing proper thermal insulation (lagging) over the pipeline using suitable heat-resisting sheets/materials; all works completed as per the site requirements, direction, and satisfaction of the Department Officers. (The rate includes the cost of all required materials, labour, fabrication, tools, and plant). |

The grids shall be dismantled, cleaned and refitted after replacing damaged nuts, bolts and filters as per the requirements and to the satisfaction of the departmnet. This rate shall include the cost of MS/Brass bolts and nuts, as well as brass netting.If any strainers are to be replaced, the contractor shall procure the items from an authorised dealer and submit original dealer invoices along with the contractor's bill for reimbursement. The tiles are to be laid in all colours and shades over a 20 mm thick base of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand), including grouting the joints with epoxy grout, finishing, and cleaning, all completed as per the directions and satisfaction of the Department officers. |
