| 1 | M&L for removing, dislodging, lifting, loading, transporting, unloading and stacking boulders/stones of all sizes from the river bed by mechanical means using JCB/Excavator or other suitable equipment, including dressing and formation of the required intake channel to facilitate smooth flow of water towards the suction pipeline/intake point. The work includes excavation, shifting and disposal/stacking of the removed boulders at a suitable location as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, maintaining the required width, depth and gradient of the channel, clearing all loose stones, debris, silt and obstructions, and leaving the site clean and serviceable, CB to main suction line of river bed of place as required size, complete all as specified and directed. Note: The Job may be carried out at different installations and on different days. |
| 2 | Taking out existing filter bed media(5.5 x 3.65 Mtr) i.e old gravel layers of different size of gravel sand etc and depositing same upto 50m distance as directed and washing the wall and bottom internally with clean water mixed with bleaching powder in the ratio of 1:10 one part of bleaching powder and ten part of water, reusing as required qty of filter media items, writing date of cleaning in 80mm wide letters in white colour over a black back ground with synthetic enamel paint, complete all as specified and directed. |

| 5 | Second layer of gravels of size 40 x 30mm depth 75mm. |

| 7 | Fourth layers of gravels of size 19 x 12mm depth 75mm. |
| 8 | Fifth layers of gravels of size 9 x 6mm depth 75mm. |
