Name of Work:- REPAIR AND CLEANING OF SEWAGE LINE, SEPTIC TANK, MANHOLES AT AREA COTTON GREEN, SEWRI, PAVNIKA, SION, SANTACURZ, KALINA AND AIRPORT TECHNICAL AREA OF AF STN MUMBAI UNDER GE(AF) THANE

1Excavating in trenches in Hard and dense soil , n exc 1.5 m wide and n. exc. 1.5 m in depth; for foundation,(for manholes,sewage line etc) . and getting out, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
2All as per item No -01 here-in-above but depth exceeding 1.5 m & not exc 3.00 m, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
3Returning, filling in, including spreading ,leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n. exc 25 cm with soil out side MD land, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
4Removal of excavated material (soil) to a distance n. exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
5Opening cover of septic tank,dewatering by section pump and taking out night soil/excreata sludge etc from septic tank/manhole and removing sludge outside MD lan and cleaning the septic tank as per BMC rules and placing the cover in orginal position, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
6Systematically cleaning of 150mm dia pipe sewers/ drains by passing rope,knots,bamboos, kept and disc of required size from manholes to manholes,septic tank and well flusing after cleaning sewer line/drain pipe with jet pressure(excluding manholes and septic tanks) including safty measures such as test for existence of poisionous gas etc.complete all as specified and directed and maintained through out the contrect period without any extra cost etc.complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
7All as perSrl item No -07above but 200 mm dia.complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
8M&L for Cleaning the chocks/blockages in AC/CI/PVC soil waste/rain water pipes of any dia fixed on walls upto 10 mht, by removing cleaning eye and refixing the same after cleaning the pipe, making good damaged cernent joints, dia of pipe not exc 150mm dia upto two floors and including necessary scaffolding if required, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
9M&L for Cleaning blockage of IWC/EWC etc including depositing sludge in a pit (including digging pit) distance not exc. 100 m from bldg and cover with earth along with spreading of bleaching powder, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
10M&L for Cleaning blockage of Gully trap, Nahani trap, Floor trap etc including depositing sludge in a pit (including digging pit) distance not exc. 100 m from bldg and cover with earth along with spreading of bleaching powder, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
11Notes applicable for item No 1 to 10 :- (i) The contractor shall ensure cleaning, clearing, and disposal of sludge/sewage-contaminated water (solid/semi-solid/liquid) from sewage lines, manholes, etc., as detailed in the items. All sewage lines and related components shall be maintained in a blockage-free and smoothly functioning condition for a period of 330 (Three Hundred Thirty) days, as per the completion date mentioned in Work Order No-1. Rates against items from 1 to 10 shall include the following provisions: (ii) Complaints shall be collected from the office of the AGE B/R Kalina and JE cotton green at 9:00 AM and attended to promptly including providing required assitance to deployed labours to resolve the complaint. (iii) After resolution, complaint slips shall be signed by the user occupant and countersigned at the AGE BIR Office to confirm satisfactory completion. The contractor shall Deploy at least two dedicated personnel on-site daily on all working days 01 x for Kalina and 01x for cotton green for the purpose of attending complaints related to sewage maintenance. To ensure timely resolution of complaints: (iv) No complaint shall remain unattended for more than 24 hours. (v) In case of non-deployment or absence of the dedicated personnel, or if complaints are not attended within the stipulated time recovery of 500 per complaint per day shall be levied. Note: The qtys of cleaning is considered for 11 months cleaning work, will be done on quarterly basis as per plan given and regular complaint will be attended simultanously. (vi) Any damage caused during cleaning/clearing to manhole covers, gully trap covers, Cl access doors, CI/PVC pipes and fittings, 'P' traps, or floor traps shall be rectified by the contractor using new materials, without any additional cost to the Government. (vii) Pipeline length shall be measured from center to center of manholes. Additionally, if the absence of personnel leads to unattended complaints or repeated delays, the Engineer-in-Charge reserves the right to issue a discrepancy notice. Upon three such notices, the contractor shall be liable to deploy an additional standby personnel at no extra cost to the Government, for the remaining contract period.
12Demolition and breaking up 150 mm bore drain pipes (SGSW, AC or RCC), set in cement mortar, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
13Demolition and breaking up 200 mm bore drain pipes (SGSW, AC or RCC), set in cement mortar, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
14M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in concrete bed to drain pipes of 150 mm bore including packing under, and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested; including necessary form work, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
15M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in concrete bed to drain pipes of 200 mm bore including packing under, and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested; including necessary form work, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
16M&L for 150 mm bore , Salt glazed stone ware drain pipes, grade 'A', laid in trenches and jointed in CM 1:1 including testing, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
17M&L for 200 mm bore , Salt glazed stone ware drain pipes, grade 'A', laid in trenches and jointed in CM 1:1 including testing, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
18M&L for 150 mm bore, reinforced concrete pipes,class NP2 laid in trenches and jointed in CM 1:1 including testing, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
19Demolition of cement concrete (Unreinforced) n. exc 15 cm thickness as in base of manholes & coping etc.complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
20M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 ,using 40mm graded sand stone aggregate as in base of manholes or in mass concrete and bed to drain pipes,including packing under and hauching against sides of drainpipes, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
21M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in bed block, coping and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, including form work, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
22M&L for cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains of 150 mm internal dia of pipe, making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section) in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-l smooth finished, and reforming benching as required, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
23M&L for cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains of 200 mm internal dia of pipe, making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section) in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-l smooth finished, and reforming benching as required, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
24Taking down of rain water pipe and sewage line pipe of any type and any size including fitting, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
25S&F for 75mm bore PVC (SWR) pipes, single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints fixed to walls with necessary clamp, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
26S&F for 110mm bore PVC (SWR) pipes, single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints fixed to walls with necessary clamp, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
27S&F for 110 mm dia PVC (SWR) bends any radius, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
28S&F for 110 mm dia PVC (SWR) bends any radius with access door, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
29S&F for 75 mm dia PVC (SWR) bends any radius, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

32M&L for PVC gully trap of 125/110mm, setting and jointing with solvent cement,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
33Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls,ceiling etc including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
34Demolition of brick work or stone/ boulder masonry built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar in existing manholes / septic tank, sumps ,soakage pits including all quoins, arches, pillars etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
35M&L for brick work with sub class 'B' bricks (old size) having water absorption upto 10%, straight or curved on plan, exc. 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4 as in manholes, septic tanks, soakage pits etc in any position complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
36M&L for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1: 4 on any faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement mixed with water proofing compound (to be measured & paid separately as supply only) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
37Supply only integral water proofing compound, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
38Demolition of existing RCC cover slab of any thickness, in any position of manholes, soakage pits, septic tank or other RCC work etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
39M&L for precast cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded BT stone agregate including necessary form work as in manholes cover slab soakagewall etc, set in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.(Note :- Re-inforcement shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of Sch 'A' here in after)
40M&L for mild steel TMT bars 8 mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending for columns, hooking for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire(annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
