| 1 | Hauling up of the Vessel GRT up to 30 ton at thekkady reservoir at a place as directed by the department officers. Keeping the vessel at a height of 75 CM above the ground level for inspection and launching the same after under water repairs, as directed by Department Officers. (The Rate includes all hire charges, mobilisation charges, transportation charges of winch, wooden blocks and all other equipments and manpower required for the work). |
| 2 | Pressure washing by using fresh water and cleaning the entire hull outer surface area with high-pressure water jet and hand scraping, degreasing for inspection as directed by the engineer/officer in charge of the work. |
| 3 | Chipping, scraping and thoroughly cleaning the complete accessible surfaces of the vessel, including hull, superstructure, machinery, pipelines, fittings, supports and other associated accessories, by removing loose, damaged and deteriorated paint, rust, scale, dirt, grease, marine growth and other foreign matter, using suitable hand tools, mechanical tools and cleaning methods as required, to obtain a sound, clean and properly prepared surface suitable for subsequent painting protective coating, including all necessary labour, tools, consumables and incidental expenses, complete in all respects to the satisfaction and direction of the Departmental Officer or Engineer-in-Charge of the work. |
| 4 | Cutting and removing damaged or deteriorated mild steel (MS) structures, including plates, angles, flats, frames, and girders of any thickness from the vessel, followed by the complete supply, fabrication, and renewal of marine-quality IS:2062 mild steel structures to original profiles. The work includes marking cutting lines without disturbing stable structures, disposing of removed scrap to designated yard zones, mechanical edge preparation (V-cutting beveling), lifting, aligning, and executing full-penetration multi-layer welding (minimum 3 layers). The comprehensive rate is fully inclusive of raw marine-quality steel procurement, industrial gases, welding electrodes, plant and machinery hire energy charges, temporary scaffolding, staging, labor, etc, complete the work as per the direction and satisfaction of the departmental officers, engineer in charge of the work. |
| 5 | Gauging the thickness of the plates, beam, frame, etc., at different portions of the vessel using an ultrasonic thickness gauge after chipping, scraping, and filing the surface to about 50 mm dia and pasting grease oil over it as per the direction of the engineer or the officer in charge of the work and steel replacement markings shall be submitted along with the gauging report. |
| 6 | Supplying and applying two coat of approved best-quality marine-grade alkyd primer of reputed make such as International, Hempel, Jotun or equivalent, over the already cleaned and prepared surfaces of the vessel, including hull, superstructure, machinery, pipelines, fittings and other associated accessories, by suitable application methods to ensure uniform and complete coverage, including all necessary primer, labour, tools, application equipment and incidental expenses. The entire quantity of primer supplied shall be produced for inspection and obtained approval from the Engineer or Department official in Charge of the work before commencement and continuation of the painting work, complete in all respects as direction and satisfaction of Engineer or Department official in Charge of the work. |
| 7 | Supplying and applying approved best-quality marine-grade tie-coat paint over the properly cured and prepared primer-coated surfaces of the vessel hull using suitable application methods to ensure uniform and complete coverage, including all necessary paint, labour, tools, application equipment and incidental expenses. The entire quantity of tie-coat paint supplied shall be produced for inspection and obtained approval from the Engineer or department officer in Charge of the work before commencement and continuation of the painting work, complete in all respects as per the direction and satisfaction of the Engineer or department officer in Charge of the work. |
| 8 | Supplying and applying two coats of approved best-quality marine-grade antifouling paint of reputed make over the properly cured and prepared existing paint/tie-coat surface of the underwater portion of the vessel, including application by suitable methods to achieve uniform and complete coverage and the required dry film thickness, including all necessary antifouling paint, labour, tools, application equipment and incidental expenses. The entire quantity of antifouling paint supplied shall be produced for inspection and obtained approval from the Engineer or department officer in Charge of the work before commencement and continuation of the painting work, complete in all respects as per the direction and satisfaction of the Engineer or department officer in Charge of the work. |
| 9 | Supplying and applying two coats of approved best-quality marine-grade alkyd finish paint of reputed make such as International, Hempel, Jotun or equivalent, in white or other approved colours, over the properly cured primer-coated surfaces of the vessel body, machinery, pipelines, fittings and other associated accessories, including application in accordance with the approved colour code and to achieve uniform, smooth and complete coverage, including all necessary paint, labour, tools, application equipment and incidental expenses. The entire quantity of marine alkyd paint supplied shall be produced for inspection and obtained approval from the Engineer or department officer in Charge of the work before commencement and continuation of the painting work, complete in all respects as per the direction and satisfaction of the Engineer or department officer in Charge of the work. |
| 10 | Comprehensively checking, testing, and troubleshooting the entire onboard electrical installation network, including power distribution cabling, central control switchboards, LED lighting fixtures, horn assembly, navigating and search light units, circuit breakers, switches, and distribution boxes. The scope covers evaluating insulation integrity, performing continuity testing across all wiring circuits, identifying compromised segments, and executing necessary repairs or complete renewals. It includes dismantling and overhauling localized component blocks, rectifying loose terminations, rewiring sub-circuits, and replacing damaged or unserviceable electrical installations, assemblies, and peripheral spares with new components of identical specifications, dimensions, and capacities. The contractor should procure the defected items from the authorized dealer and submit the original dealer bill along with the contractor bill for its reimbursement. 15% of the cost of spares will be paid to the contractor as overhead charges for arranging these items. These procured as well as the replaced items should get inspected by the Engineer who is the in-charge of the work and the un-serviceable / old items should be returned to department for realization of payment. All completed works, system configurations, and replacements must be tested, commissioned, and verified to ensure optimum operational efficiency, executed complete as per the direction and entire satisfaction of the departmental officers. |
| 11 | Supplying, installing, wiring, testing and commissioning of a complete bilge water high-level alarm system for the vessel, comprising of bilge water high-level float switches of stainless steel or other approved marine-grade, corrosion-resistant construction, suitable for continuous immersion, fitted in the engine room bilge and in any additional monitored compartment with mounting bracket/guide and cable gland at each location, one bilge alarm control panel with audible buzzer and visual LED indication for each monitored bilge, suitable for wheelhouse mounting, with mains/battery supply connection and a test-cum-silence push-button switch, complete with all interconnecting marine-grade cable of copper conductor laid in conduit along bulkheads and deckhead with necessary clips, saddles and glanding at each termination, junction boxes and other sundry fixing accessories, including all labour, minor civil/carpentry work for mounting, testing of float switch operation and panel response, commissioning of the complete system, labelling of each circuit, demonstration of satisfactory operation to the Surveyor. Rate to be inclusive of cost of all materials, equipment, labour, consumables, conveyance to site and all incidental expense required to give a complete, tested and commissioned system as per the direction and satisfaction of the engineer or department officials in charge of the work. |
| 12 | Supplying, installing, wiring, testing and commissioning of a complete conventional-type fire detection and alarm system for the vessel, comprising of marine-rated fire alarm control panel fixed on the wheelhouse bulkhead panel board with mains power supply unit, trickle battery charger, zone-wise fault and fire indication lamps and common audible alarm relay, heat detectors in the engine room/machinery space, smoke detectors in the accommodation spaces, manual call points at the wheelhouse and deck passage, fire alarm hooter-cum-strobe units of adequate audibility at the control position, complete with all interconnecting fire-resistant marine-grade armoured cable, copper conductor laid in conduit/on cable tray along bulkheads and deckhead with necessary clips, saddles, glands and ferruling; PVC GI conduit, Junction boxes, cable ties and other sundry fixing accessories; and a sealed maintenance-free (SMF) 12V, 7Ah battery for standby power supply to the panel, testing of every detector, call point and hooter, commissioning of the complete system, demonstration of satisfactory operation to the Surveyor. Rate to be inclusive of cost of all materials, equipment, labour, consumables, conveyance to site and all incidentals required to give a complete, tested and commissioned system, and as per the satisfaction and direction of the Engineer department officer in charge of the work. |
| 13 | Supply and replace the damaged rubber beading of glass without damaging any other parts of the boat, glass as per the direction and satisfaction of the department officials. |
| 14 | Remove the old damaged 1 inch wooden beading from its position, supply and install new 1 inch wide wooden teakwood beading on various portion of the vessel as per the direction and satisfaction of the department officer/engineer in charge of the work. |
| 15 | Supply and Install new Hylam sheets of 4mm thickness in various portion of the vessel by proper fasteners as per the direction and satisfaction of the department officials (The rate includes all material and labour charges). |
| 16 | Removing the propeller with shaft and bushes from the vessel and dismantling the propeller from the propeller shaft etc. and renew the bushes and gland packing, bend checking and straightening the shaft, balancing and pitch correcting the propeller etc and refitting the same all as per the direction of departmental officers. |
| 17 | Supply and install new transparent acrylic sheets of required thickness for the windows/structural openings of the vessel, including careful removal of the existing damaged sheets, cutting and fitting of new sheets to the required size, proper fixing with existing/new frames and rubber beadings, application of suitable sealant, and necessary refitting and finishing to ensure a secure, neat and watertight installation. The work shall be carried out as per the existing arrangement and to the direction and satisfaction of the Departmental Officers. The rate shall be inclusive of all materials, labour, tools, equipment, transportation and incidental charges required for the complete and satisfactory execution of the work. |
| 18 | Designing, fabricating, testing, installing and fixing in position Curtain Wall with Aluminium Composite Panel Cladding, with open grooves for linear as well as curvilinear portions of the building, for all heights and all levels etc, including: (a) Structural analysis & design and preparation of shop drawings for pressure equalisation or rain screen principle as required, proper drainage of water to make it watertight including checking of all the structural and functional design. (b) Providing, fabricating and supplying and fixing panels of aluminium composite panel cladding in pan shape in metalic colour of approved shades made out of 4mm thick aluminium composite panel material consisting of 3mm thick FR grade mineral core sandwiched between two Aluminium sheets (each 0.5mm thick). The aluminium composite panel cladding sheet shall be coil coated, with Kynar 500 based PVDF/Lumiflon based fluoropolymer resin coating of approved colour and shade on face # 1 and polymer (Service) coating on face #2 as specified using stainless steel screws, nuts, bolts, washers, cleats, weather silicone sealant, backer rods etc. (c) The fastening brackets of Aluminium alloy 6005 T5/MS with Hot Dip Galvanised with serrations and serrated washers to arrest the wind load movement, fasteners, SS 316 Pins and anchor bolts of approved make in SS 316, Nylon separators to prevent bi-metallic contacts all complete required to perform as per specification and drawing The item includes cost of all material & labour component, the cost of all mock ups at site, cost of all samples of the individual components for testing in an approved laboratory, field tests on the assembled working curtain wall with aluminium composite panel cladding, cleaning and protection of the curtain wall with aluminium composite panel cladding till the handing over of the building for occupation. Base frame work for ACP cladding is payable under the relevant aluminium items The Contractor shall provide curtain wall with aluminium composite panel cladding, having all the performance characteristics all complete, as per the Architectural drawings, as per item description, as specified, as per the approved shop drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. However, for the purpose of payment, only the actual area on the external face of the curtain wall with Aluminum Composite Panel Cladding (including width of groove) shall be measured in sqm. up to two decimal places. |
| 19 | Clean and fiber the damaged portion of the boat vessel by supplying and applying good quality fiber reinforcement materials in two distinct layers. The work includes thoroughly preparation of the target surfaces by hand scraping, sanding, degreasing, and removing all loose debris or moisture. Apply high-grade marine resin thoroughly mixed with catalyst and accelerator in required proportions to saturate each layer of fiber mat uniformly. Complete with proper grinding, finishing, and matching pigment as per original color profiles.executed in strict accordance with the directions and entire satisfaction of the departmental officers. |
| 20 | Dismantling the main Engine Fuel Injection Pump (FIP) from its structural position on the vessel, carefully cleaning external assemblies, transporting the pump to an authorized service facility for technical overhauling, multi-point calibration, and timing optimization, and fitting back securely in position upon completion. The scope includes conducting nozzle pressure tests, checking fuel delivery volumes across varying RPM ranges, rectifying governor lag, and replacing compromised internal mechanical components, etc. The contractor should procure the defected items from the authorized dealer and submit the original dealer bill along with the contractor bill for its reimbursement. 15% of the cost of spares will be paid to the contractor as overhead charges for arranging these items. These procured as well as the replaced items should get inspected by the Engineer who is the in-charge of the work and the un-serviceable/old items should be returned to department for realization of payment. All completed pump assemblies must be tested, re-installed with fresh sealing gaskets, executed complete as per the direction and entire satisfaction of the engineer or departmental officers in charge of the work. |
| 21 | Providing and fixing self-adhesive modified bituminous waterproofing membrane of approved make and suitable thickness, reinforced with polyester/glass fibre, having adequate tensile strength, flexibility and weather resistance, over the prepared steel roof of the vessel, including cleaning and mechanical preparation of the surface, application of compatible primer, laying and firmly pressing the peel-and-stick membrane, treatment of overlaps, joints, edges, corners, penetrations and other leakage-prone portions with compatible sealant, including all labour, materials, consumables, tools, plant and machinery hire, transportation/conveyance, loading, unloading, shifting and all incidental expenses, complete and waterproof as per the direction and satisfaction of the Engineer or department Officer in Charge of the work |
