| 4 | The Bidder shall quote any unconditional discounts and the methodology for their application in view of the rights provided to the bidder in terms of percentage figure on total bid price so that the discounts can be evaluated by simple arithmetic calculation during financial evaluation of the bids, to arrive at the net total price of the bid. |
| 5 | If the bidder fails to quote rates against any item, the tender may be treated as incomplete and non-responsive and shall be rejected. |
| 6 | Errors will be corrected by the employer for any arithmetic errors in computation or summation as per contract conditions. |
| 7 | No Price variation is admissible in this contract. |
| 8 | Bidder shall note that total price mentioned in Bid Total of Annexure-A of Appendix-1 of COF and BOQ total price must be equal. In case of discrepancies BOQ total price shall prevail. |
| 9 | Bidder shall note that total price mentioned in BOQ after discount and Annexure-A of Appendix-1 of COF must be equal. In case of any discrepancies BOQ total price shall prevail and Milestone shall be apportioned accordingly by considering the same discount as mentioned in BOQ. |
| 10 | The rates and prices to be tendered in the Pricing Document are for completed and finished items of work and complete in all respect. It will be deemed to include cost of all plants, labour, supervision, materials, transport, all temporary works, erection, maintenance, contractor's profit and establishment/overheads, all general risks, insurance liabilities, compliance of labour laws and obligations set out or implied in the contracts. |
| 11 | Bidder shall note that the Appendix-1 of COF is only instructions for completing the pricing document, whereas Appendix 14 to 16 of COF is required to be prepared and submit along with the pricing document (Vol-4) by the bidder. |
| 12 | For the List of spares for 10 years of system operation from the last date of Taking over of whole works, the bidder shall submit unpriced list of spares for maintenance of supplied system in the format as per Appendix- 14 of COF in Technical Package and priced list for the same in the Financial Package. However, due to any reason, if the bidder is not able to submit unpriced list of spares for maintenance of supplied system in the format as per Appendix- 14 of COF in Technical Package and priced list for the same in the Financial Package, bidder shall submit a undertaking in the format as per Appendix-17 of COF in the Technical Package.The rates of these spares (Appendix-14 of COF) will not be considered for tender evaluation while assessing the L1 bidder. |
| 13 | Bidder shall note that the pricing for unconditional withdrawal of the deviations from Instructions to Bidder, GCC & SCC and the Employer's Requirements (General Specifications and Particular Specifications) noted in the Appendix 13 of FOB has been given in the financial bid Appendix-N.The Bidder shall indicate price adjustment against each deviation in Appendix N of Financial bid. This price is the price on which the bidder shall reduce from his tender price if deviation(s) is/are accepted by the Employer.If there is no deviation, the statement should be returned duly signed with an endorsement indicating 'No Deviations'.
