Measured as the area of liner actually erected at site. The 6mm strip plates which are required for bolting with 3mm sheets shall be measured in this item rate twice. |
| 7 | GTA Welding of stainless steel sheet / plate 304L quality 3.00 mm thick with a) the embedded carbon steel grid work using ER 309 L filler wire for dissimilar welding & b) for welding with structure / sheet using ER 308 L filler wire for similar welding. Welding shall be carried out with Argon for shielding followed by LP examination (LPE) and local passivation of weld joints. Rates shall be inclusive of LPE and local passivation of weld joints. In case of stitch welding in 6mm strip plates are required, the same shall be measured in this item twice. |

The item rate includes i) Supply the Stainless Steel 304 quality materials such as plates and sheets in various thickness as per site requirements. ii) Forming/Fabrication/machining of SS materials like channels, angles, clamps, components etc in various sizes as required as per approved drawings. iii) Fabrication, assembly, trial, validation and erection of shielding / supports / equipment structural members as per approved drawings and welding of members using GTAW process with argon gas for shielding using ER 308L filler wire, followed by site installation as per approved procedure and drawing. iv) All the weld joints shall be subjected to LPE on final pass and local passivated as per approved procedure v) all the members shall be subjected to surface treatment as per approved procedure prior to erection at site. |

The item rate includes i) Collecting the Stainless Steel 304L quality materials such as plates and sheets in various thickness as per site requirements from department. ii) Forming/Fabrication/Machining of structural members like channels, angles, clamps, equipment etc in various sizes as required as per approved drawings. iii) Fabrication, assembly, trial, validation and erection of shielding / supports / equipment structural members as per approved drawings using GTAW process with argon gas for shielding using ER 308L filler wire, followed by site installation as per approved procedure and drawing. iv) All the weld joints shall be subjected to LPE on final pass and local passivated as per approved procedure v) all the structural members shall be subjected to surface treatment as per approved procedure prior to erection at site. |

GENERAL: PRESERVATION OF TANKS & EQUIPMENTS: Preservation of erected, tanks, equipments, valves and piping at DFRP PPF building & waste vault area as per the annexure in the tender document. Checking of the installed tanks, equipments and piping visually for general corrosion, grinding marks, cut marks, dents, arc strikes, and excreta of birds, oil, grease, and any other surface contamination shall be identified and to be marked. The marked area shall be cleaned using aluminum oxide sander wheel / emery paper / SS wire brush etc. without reduction of base material thickness. Then the outer surface of stainless steel tanks shall be washed with DM water and swapped with cotton waste. The work shall be carried out through technicians who are experienced in this type of work. Carbon steel pipe lines/ ducts / tanks shall be cleaned with wire brush and painting to be carried out as per industry standard. Required safety PPE's, materials, tools and tackles, lifting arrangement for higher elevation are scope of contractor. ( Any size below DN 25 shall be considered as one inch meter) |

| 29 | SCAFFOLDING: Providing and fixing double Tubular scaffolding system using H-Frames / APS system or (cup lock type) on the exterior side upto seven storey height made with 40mm dia M.S. tube 1.5m centre to centre horizontal and vertical tubes joining with cup and lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S clamps and M.S staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with building etc. wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and as approved by the Engineer -in-charge.
