(b) Contractor shall provide sufficient skilled and unskilled manpower on requirnment basis as directed by engineer incharge for attending and completing the complaints as per the users satisfaction. However, the number of skilled and unskilled manpower shall be increased as directed by Engr in charge depending upon the requirement / number of complaints registered at the complaint center. In case of failure on providing suffiiciet manpower by the contractor, a penalty at the rate of Rs 1000 per skilled person per day and Rs 600 per unskilled person per day shall be levied on the contractor and recovery for the same shall be affected from contractor's dues not withstanding the fact if number of complaints of any nature is less or more. Attendance register shall be maintained by the JE for recording the absentee details and the same register will be signed by the contractor/ Supervisor daily, the AGE weekly and the GE on month end. A separate register based on atttendance register for recording recovery of contractor shall be maintained by the JE and the recovery if any will be forwarded to GE every month for necessary action at his end. Any descripancy or contest on the entries in the attendance register shall be written to GE within 48 hours of the entry in the attendance register, if not than the entries done will be binding and uncontested for. The department is not liable for the contractor signature in the register and it is the contractors prerogative to get it signed either himself or his supervisor. |
| 152 | (c) The complaints related to carpenter works, plumbing works, cement works and welding works against serial item Nos 148 to 150 shall be completed in 48 hours time after lodging/ receipt of complaints. Contractor shall ensure that all the complaints shall be attended and completed within above prescribed schedule/ time period, failing which, a penalty at the rate of double the quoted rate for that particular trade work/complaint per day till the satisfactorily completion of complaint shall be levied on the contractor and recovery for the same shall be affected from contractor's dues. A separate register shall be maintained for recording recovery for compliant not attend with in time period by the JE Remaining clauses pertaining to the register same as per para 150 (a) above. (d) For each complaint, a separate complaint slip shall be prepared by JE/ his representative and handed over to related tradesman, etc. for attending the complaint and after satisfactorily completion of complaint, compaint slip shall be submitted to concerned executive on the date as per Para 150 (b) above, which shall be got signed from the occupant and shall be produced at the time of payment to be made to the contractor. Complaints pertaining to same location and same nature consisting of replacement of maximum two fixtures in one quarter/ office/ building etc.involving movement of particular tradesman shall be measured and paid as one complaint. Replacement of more than two fixtures but multiple of three fixtures or part thereof in one quarter/ office/ building, etc. shall be measured as additional complaint. (e) Ref Para 150 (c) above any compliant of cement work below one Sqm will be given as single complaint, multiple of the same will be given as additional complaint. |
| 153 | (f) Complaint slip and complaint register etc. shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to the department and cost there of shall be deemed to be included in quoted rates by the contractor against respective items. (h) Contractor will establish a well furnished complaint cell to recieve the complaints (Petty repair) in the area allocated by Enginner-in-Charge/GE. (j) Contractor will deploy a Data Entry operator staff to recieve the complaints made by users in complaint cell from time 9:00 AM to 17:00 PM on all working day. (k) Contractor will deploy sufficient plumber/ Carpentor/Mason/safaiwala/electrician to attned the daily complaints (petty repair) on daily basis. Attendance report of the deployed skilled staff alongwith their healper will be submiited to JE/Engineer-in-Charge on daily basis. (l) Contractor's supervisor will report on all working days alongwith their skilled staff and printed contractor's firm name complaint slip book at 8:30 hrs at JE/Engineer-in-Charge received complaints from users and to submit completion report/constraints, if any on the same day by 1700 hrs. |
| 154 | (m) Printed complaint slip book as per format approved by Engineer-in-charge shall be provided and maintained by the contractor. (s) Rate quoted in above BOQ shall be deemed to incl the cost of office staff/ office equipment, required T&P/stores and device etc alongwith sufficinet skilled manpowers/ labour to attend/complete the complaints in the same day duly signed by users at the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in Charge. (t) It is adivsed to contractor to visit the site before quoting the rates in tender. |
