1Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including removing,spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75m.as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete. (a) Depth of excavation not exceeding 1.500 mm.
2Filling properly empty sausage crates with boulders of any size & shape with hand packing after preparation of bed of placement, placing the crate in position, carriage of boulders from road stacks with a lead upto 150 mts. etc. complete in all respect including stitching the rest of the crate with wire (passage for filling boulders) after filling up the crate with boulder sand launching the crate in position if necessary and as directed by the Engineer-in charge.
