| 1 | ROAD MAINTENANCEProviding compacted granular materials in shoulder by using moorum having required P.I. value spreading in uniform layers not exceeding 100mm in depth and compacting with smoth wheeled roller to achieve the desired density, as per approved Drawing & Technical Specifications and as per Clause - 407 of MoRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (5th Revision) including cost, conveyance, royality & other taxes of materials, cost of labour, machinery, T&P etc complete. |
| 2 | Removal of rank vegetation/weeds and undesirable vegetation from shoulders,embankment slopes up to ROW(bothsides) complete in all respects including breaking of clods,rough dressing and disposal of waste material and vegetation at a place outside ROW as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge and as per maintenance standards Clause no 3.1.(Frequency of cleaning will be one time in a quarter) Shoulders including side slopes of embankment upto toe line both sides of the carriageway.(Frequency of cleaning will be four times in a year, however limited to only areas prone to growth of rank/undesirable vegetation and weeds) |

| 4 | Providing 25mm compacted thick S.D.B.C. of grading -2 using crushed stone Gr.-2 materials & 60/70 penetration grade of bitumen preparing preemixed materials with bituminous binder with hot mix plant, transported to site, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled to achieve the desired compaction as per clauses 501 and 508 of MoRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (5th Revision) including cost, conveyance, royality & other taxes of materials, cost of labour, machinery, T&P etc complete. |
| 5 | ROAD SAFETY MAINTENANCEProviding and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35 .The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes. |
| 6 | Painting two coats with synthatic enamel paints over a coat of primer on any elevation on road kerb, parapet and guard post for finished item of work including cost, conveyance & other taxes of materials, cost of labour, T&P etc complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. |
| 7 | Providing and fixing of 60cm x 50cm rectangular size retro-reflectorised, cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC-67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3 ,fixed over aluminium sheeting, 1.5mm thick supported on mild steel angle post 75m x 75mm x 6mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M-15 grade cement concrete 45cm x 45cm x 60cm, 60cm below ground level as per approved drawing .
