| 2 | Removal of rank vegetation/weeds and undesirable vegetation from shoulders,embankment slopes up to ROW(bothsides) complete in all respects including breaking of clods,rough dressing and disposal of waste material and vegetation at a place outside ROW as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge and as per maintenance standards Clause no 3.1.(Frequency of cleaning will be one time in a quarter) Shoulders including side slopes of embankment upto toe line both sides of the carriageway.(Frequency of cleaning will be four times in a year, however limited to only areas prone to growth of rank/undesirable vegetation and weeds) |

| 6 | Providing 50mm compacted thick Bituminous Macadam of grading -2 using crushed stone Gr.-2 materials & 60/70 penetration grade of bitumen preparing preemixed materials with bituminous binder with hot mix plant, transported to site, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled to achieve the desired compaction as per clauses 501 and 504 of MoRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (5th Revision) including cost, conveyance, royality & other taxes of materials, cost of labour, machinery, T&P etc complete. |
| 7 | Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom. |
| 8 | Providing 25mm compacted thick S.D.B.C. of grading -2 using crushed stone Gr.-2 materials & 60/70 penetration grade of bitumen preparing preemixed materials with bituminous binder with hot mix plant, transported to site, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled to achieve the desired compaction as per clauses 501 and 508 of MoRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (5th Revision) including cost, conveyance, royality & other taxes of materials, cost of labour, machinery, T&P etc complete. |
| 9 | ROAD SAFETY MAINTENANCEProviding and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35 .The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes. |
