| 1 | M&L in repair Earthing with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 60cmX60cmX6cm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below the ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m bellow normal ground level, connected to the galvanised earth lead by means of bolts, nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel using GI or steel wire 4.00 mm dia as earthing lead as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on complete including necessary form work excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil, returning filling, disposal of surplus soil, earth pit in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm grade stone aggregate pit, funnel, 20mm dia GI medium grade watering pipe, 15mm dia GI light grade earth lead protection pipe and pre-cast earth pit cover made of 50mm thick RCC (1:1.5:3) type A1 duly reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bar @ 150 c/c both ways, one lifting handle made of 10mm dia TMT bar embedded in cover slab and cover, wire, copper lugs etc including mesh charcoal and common salt in alternate layer of 15cm thick, complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 2 | M&L in repair earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick, burried directly and preferably vertically in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.50 Mtr below ground level. The earth plate to be connetced with GI earthing strip of size 32mmx6mm thick by means of brazing between GI strip and earth plate min 45 cm in vertical length and GI strip also to be joined by brazing only. The GI earthing strip to be protected by galvanised iron pipe 40 mm bore (medium grade) up to ground level. Earthing shall be include with providing funnel with 20mm bore galvanised iron pipe (light grade), wire mesh, charcoal or coke and common salt in alternate layer of 15cm (compacted thickness) up to 90 cm all around earth plate, further filled with 60 cm thick Tibba sand and 2nd layer with 30 cm of Magnesium sulphate powder (compact thickness ) , 3rd layer with tibba sand up to the ground level. Earthing shall also be include for providing concrete earth pit in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (with 20mm graded stone aggregate), 50mm thick precast RCC (1:1.5:3) type A-1 cover slab (reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bar @ 15 cm C/C bothways and suitable handle made of 10mm dia) including necessary form work, earth work and testing, complete all as specified and directed.Note :- (i) GI Strip upto 7.5 metre is included in this rate, the length beyond 7.5 metre shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items.(ii) On testing after completetion, if the desired earth resistance is not obtained, the earthing will be re-done at no extra cost. |

Cost of the items includes the scope of earth work, charcoal, salt, PCC, RCC, checmical compound and Pit cover of required size.2. Testing of earth value shall be arranged by the contractor without any extra cost.3. Value obtained of earh shall be below 1.00 ohm.4. On testing after completetion, if the desired earth resistance is not obtained, the earthing will be re-done at no extra cost. |

Cost of this item includes the scope of earth work, chemical compound and Pit cover of required size.2. Testing of earth value shall be arranged by the contractor without any extra cost.3. Value obtained of earh must be below 1.00 ohm and tested before Engr-in-charge.4. The unit rates are included for 3 Nos bore hole 80mm dia 3m depth, 03 Nos earth electrode 48mm outer dia,1mm thick and 3m long, earth enhancement compound 30 kg for each bore hole, polymer pit cover as a each set.5.
