The work includes cutting, threading with approved jointing compound/PTFE tape, testing the pipeline for hydrostatic pressure to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge, and securing the pipes by laying and jointing in trenches, or fixing/suspending to walls, ceilings, and floors using appropriate clamps, brackets, and structural fasteners, all as specified.Note: Excavation, earthwork, refilling, and disposal of surplus soil in trenches shall be measured and paid for separately under the relevant appropriate schedule item. |
