Note: The quantity of bitumen shall be provided as per Design mix approved by GE. (The cost of transportation of the material to the Govt approved lab and design mix charges shall be borne by the contractor). for the purpose of quoting, the contractor shall consider 5.5% binder by weight of total mix. However, the work shall be executed as per approved design and price adjustment shall be done only for variation (plus or minus) in quantity of binder priced at supply only rate of bitumen (as per purchase voucher of main producer). |
