Name of Work:- RENOVATION OF KITCHEN AND OTHER MISCELLANEOUS WORK IN THE NARI NIKETAN SECTOR-26, CHANDIGARH.

1Dismantling doors, windows and clerestory windows (steel or wood) shutter including chowkhats, architrave, holdfasts etc. complete and stacking within 50 metres lead of area beyond 3 sq. metres
2Dismantling stone slab flooring laid in cement mortar including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead.
3Dismantling of ceramic tiles or vitrified and plaster to making the surface clean for refixing the glazed tiles including removing of malba complete in all respect and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge.
4Providing and laying 1st quality ceramic glazed wall tiles of size 300x450 mm conforming to IS : 15622 (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) of approved make, in all colours, shades as approved by Engineer-in-Charge,in skirting, risers of steps and dados, over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand). The tiles are to be fixed by provding 2 mm thick spacer. The area of spacer is to be filled by using cement based grout of approved shade. The grooves are to be filled with cemenitious grout mix with proportion of 0.90 kg grout and 0.10 kg of hardener for each kg of filling material complete in all respect and to entire statisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.

6Providing and laying antiskid vitrified floor tiles of specified size (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) of 1st quality with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS : 15622, of approved make, in all colours and shades, laid on 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg/sqm including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc., complete. Size of Tile 300x300 mm.
7Providing and laying vitrified floor tiles of specified size (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) of 1st quality with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS : 15622, of approved make, in all colours and shades, laid on 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg/sqm including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc., complete. Size of Tile 600x600 mm single charge
8Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for Shelves (Cast in situ)
9Reinforced cement concrete work in beams, suspended floors, roofs havingslope upto 15° landings, balconies, shelves, chanas, lintels, bands, plain window sills, staircases and spiralstair cases above plinth level up to floor five level, excludingthe cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement with 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand(zone-111) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)
10Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete above plinth level.Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-5000 or more.
11Providing and fixing 15 to 18 mm thick gang saw cut, mirror polished, premoulded and prepolished, machine cut for kitchen platforms, vanity counters, window sills, facias and similar locations of required size, approved shade, colour and texture laid over 20 mm thick base cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), joints treated with white cement, mixed with matching pigment, epoxy touch ups, including rubbing, curing, moulding and polishing of edges to give high gloss finish etc. complete at all levels. (MARBLE).
12Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / panelling, C.P. brass / stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge. (Glazing, paneling and dash fasteners to be paid for separately) : For fixed portion Anodised aluminium (anodised transparent or dyed to required shade according to IS: 1868, Minimum anodic coating of grade AC 15)
13Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / panelling, C.P. brass / stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge. 14Providing and fixing 12 mm thick prelaminated particle board flat pressed three layer or graded wood particle board conforming to IS: 12823 Grade l Type ll, in panelling fixed in aluminum doors, windows shutters and partition frames with C.P. brass / stainless steel screws etc. complete as per architectural drawings and directions of engineer-in-charge.Pre-laminated particle board with decorative lamination on both sides
15Providing and fixing golden champ wood chowkhat (kiln seasoned) 4 1/2\\" x 2 1/4\\"including cost of corner straps, iron hold fasts, hinges, screws,nails, fevicol etc. and painting two coats of wood preserver to sides of chowkhats. Rate includes the cost of dismantling of all damaged chowkhats and making good the damage to walls plaster and floors as required including, disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground the rate further includes the cost of painting two coats synthetic enamel paint over one coat of wood primer complete in all respect and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.
16Providing and fixing 35mm thick phenol bounded factory manufactured solid flush door shutter ISI marked with both side commercial face in the existing chowkhat. The rate includes the cost of iron hinges, all necessary Aluminium fittings and painting two coats over one coat of primer after preparation of surface (special quality) complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.
17Providing and fixing wooden cabinet of 13½” deep and 2’-0\\" height with openable shutter at wall above 4’-9\\" height consisting of 18mm thick pre-laminated (one side decorative and other side balancing lamination), flat pressed 3 layer or graded particle board (medium density), Grade I, Type II, IS: 12823 marked (exterior grade) lipped with hard wood lipping of size 18mm x 6mm on exposed edges include cost of piano hinges and handles, magnetic catchers, nails, screws, synthetic adhesive etc. and fixed in position with help of fastners at wall complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge
18Providing and fixing of kitchen cabinet below working shelves consisting of chowkhats frame of hard wood of 2\\" x 2\\" section with one additional member with suitable rebate of 1\\" x 1/2\\" on outer side for shutter. The shutters are to be provided with 18mm thick pre-laminated (one side decorative and other side balancing lamination), flat pressed 3 layer or graded particle board (medium density), Grade I, Type II, IS: 12823 marked (exterior grade) with hard wood lipping of size 18mm x 6mm on exposed edges including the cost of piano hinges, handles, magnetic catchers, nails, screws, fevicol etc. fixed in position with the help of fastners at wall. It further includes the cost of painting two coats of special quality paint over one coat of primer complete in all respect and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.
19Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required. : In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works
20Scrubing the old surface of existing bitumeous coating with electric cutter blades upto mother slab top and cleaning the surface comlete in all respect and removing of malba away from roof slab in local complex complete in all respects same as per direction and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge .
21Providing and laying APP (Atactic Polypropylene Polymer) modified prefabricated five layer, 3 mm thick water proofing membrane, black finished reinforced with glass fibre matt consisting of a coat of bitumen primer for bitumen membrane @ 0.40 litre/sqm by the same membrane manufactured of density at 25°C, 0.87 - 0.89 kg/litre and viscocity 70 - 160 cps. Over the primer coat the layer of membrane shall be laid using butane torch and sealing all joints etc., and preparing the surface complete. The vital physical and chemical parameters of the membrane shall be as under : Joint strength in longitudinal and transverse direction at 23°C as 350/300 N/5 cm. Tear strength in longitudinal and transverse direction as 60/80N. Softening point of membrane not less than 150°C. Cold flexibility shall be upto -2°C when tested in accordance with ASTM, D - 5147. The laying of membrane shall be got done through the authorised applicator of the manufacturer of membrane : 3 mm thick
22Retile terracing of mud phaska covered with tiles or brick, in cement mortar by reusing dismantled tile or bricks after cleaning and making tile serviceable for reuse, dismantling mud phaska and cleaning of mother slab properly (75 mm old earth and 25 mm new earth) after performing waterproofing treatment which will be paid separately. Laying 10 cm thick (average) mud phaska of damped brick earth on roofs laid to slopoe consolidated and plastered with 25mm thick mud mortar mixed with bhusa @ 35 kg per cum of earth and gobri leaping with mix 1:1 (1 clay : 1 cow dung) and covered with flat brick tile, grouted with cement mortar 1:3 ( 1 cement : 3 fine sand) mixed with 2% of integral water proofing compound by weight of cement and finished neat including replacing unserviceable tile or bricks with new ones ( the cost of mud included) complete in all respects same as per direction and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge . Note :- Dismantling tile and Dismantling mud phaska cost of new tile paid separately.
23Supply of 1st quality brick tiles 9\\"x4.1/2\\" x 1.1/2\\" complete in all respect and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in charge.
24Providing gola 75x75 mm in cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement :2 coarse sand :4 stone aggregate 10 mm and down gauge), including finishing with cementmortar 1:3(1cement :3finesand) asperstandarddesign : In 75x75 mm deep chase
25Making khurras 45x45 cm with average minimum thickness of 5cm cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand :4 graded stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size) over P.V.C. sheet 1 m x1 m x 400 micron, finished with 12 mm cement plaster 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) and a coat of neat cement, rounding the edges and making and finishing the outlet complete.
26Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable,dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.
27Providing and applying filling with cement based putty (Birla, Jk or equivalent) to the required finish complete in all respect and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.
28Distempering with 1st quality acrylic distemper, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre, of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required, to achieve even shade and colour. Old work (one or more coats)
29Distempering with 1st quality acrylic distemper (ready mixed) having VOC content less than 50 gram/litre, of approved manufacturer and of required shade and colour all complete to achieve even shade and colour : New work (two or more coats) over and including water thinnable priming coat with cement primer having VOC content less than 50 gram/litre
30Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade :One or more coats on old work
