| 1 | Excavation in foundation and trenches etc (in pipes and pits) in all kinds of soil such as pick work jumper work blasting in soft hard rock chiseling/weding out of rock where blasting prohibited saturated soil stacking the excavated earth clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15cm (fifteen centimeters) layers when required in to plinths sides of foundation etc. consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering & then disposing of all surplus excavated earth with in all lead and lifts. |
| 2 | Laying, jointing & testing in trenches to be levelled to grades, BIS marked GI pipes conforming to BIS:1239 ( latest with up to date amendments ) of following dia ( Medium class PE ) duly flanged after every 5th pipe with intermediate butt welded joints including the cost of flanges, bends of required degree, tee/ short pieces made from parent tubes of different degrees cutting , welding & jointing with flanges conforming to table as specified below of BIS:6392 ( latest with up date ammendments ) two layers on both faces welded as per BIS:1369 ( latest with up date ammendments ) of required sizes, 4 mm thick ( Champion make ) compressed asbestos fiber gasket or synthetic rubber gaskets conforming to BIS 2712 (latest with up date ammendments ) & approved specification as per site conditions including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete to respect with in all leads and lifts as per the direction and satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. |
