| 1 | Excavation in trenches manually (Excavation by mechanical means not allowed) not exc 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m depth for foundation laying of cables etc and getting out in soft loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 2 | Returning filling including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |

| 4 | Material and labour for sand cushioning (dry) in trenches/ducts for protection of UG cables( below, above and around the UG cable laid) of 23 cm spread thickness (8 cm in depth before laying the cable and 15 cm in depth after laying the cable ) and consolidated ( punned) 180mm thickness complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note :- Punned thickness of sand cushioning will be measured, for the payment purpose. |
