| 26 | Super Structure Technical Specifications. i) Details of Structural Members. The steel structure for the Hall will be designed for the Designed Parameters. All structural steel will be ISI marked with manufacturer’s test certificate for raw material and structural properties. The main columns, verandah rafters, trusses, purlins etc will be made out of steel sections, MS plates, MS bolts / nuts Wall Panels:- All walls shall be made of GI metal skin PUF panels using 0.60mm PPGI Sheets with PUF thickness of 60 mm. The height of the king post should not be less than 5 feets in any case . Other details of wall panels are as follows: -(a) All material required for the manufacture of shelter shall be new and shall comply with relevant Bureau of Indian Standard Specification.(b) The bulk density of PUF insulation should be 40 Kg/ Cum + 10% Kg/ Cum made from CFC free close cell polyurethane foam and the dispensing machinery should be kept with a PLC controlled panel for monitoring and controlling the injection rate to assure specified uniform density requirements. The total thickness of the finished composite panel should be 61mm. The tolerance in the panel can only be on the plus side.(c) The manufacture shall have facilities for conducting bend test, impact resistance test pencil hardness test, cross hatch adhesion test, paint coat thickness test to IS-14246 and for galvanizing test to IS-277. (d) The GI skin for the PUF Panels shall be hot dipped galvanized steel of 0.60mm thick TCT (Total coated thickness). Each panel should be supplied pre-painted with a colour coating of 50 microns of architectural polyester on a minimum 120 gms/m2 base of Zinc coating on the finished surface only for protection against scratches during handling and transportation. Base metal of GI skin CRCA should be as per IS-513 and grade of zinc coating will be 275 as per IS-277.The pre-coated GI sheet skin should have min coating of 4.5-micron epoxy primer and 25-micron polyester topcoat on the finished surface and 7-8-micron primer Alkyd Backer on backside, which is bounded to the polyurethane foam. The pre-coated GI sheet should conform to IS 14246-1995 with manufacture test certificates conforming to specification.PUF Panel Joining arrangement: The PUF panels shall have Tongue and groove type of joint formed on line on the forming machine integrated with PUF panel manufacture machine. The PUF Wall Panels will be of Make: LLYOD/MODERN PREFAB/JINDAL/ACME/BNAL/ACE PREFAB. The Bottom track will be fixed to the concrete platform at plinth level by suitable fasteners. One track shall be providing at the top of the panel. |
