Name of Work:- REPAIR TO GATE, GARBAGE BINS, DRAIN, PATH, HARD STANDING AND OTHERS MISC WORKS IN NANDINI COMPLEX AREA AT BHISIANA UNDER GE(AF) BHISIANA

1Demolition of brick work or stone / boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles in any description and removing/disposal off from the site to outside MOD land complete all as specified and as directed.
2Material and labour for brick work with sub class ‘B’ old size burnt clay bricks, straight or curved on plan exc. 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
3Material and labour for brick work in half brick thick wall straight or curved on plan to any radius built in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
4Material and labour for Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds, mitred/stopped ends etc. (inner girth only measured) complete all as specified and as directed.
5Taking down cement plaster/rough cast plaster from brick walls/soffits of roof projections & chajjas /ceilings etc. including racking out joints, hacking for key & scrubbing down with water etc including disposal of rubbish material to any distance out side MOD land complete all as specified and as directed.
6Material and labour for 15mm thick cement plastering/ rendering in cement mortar (1:4) on any face of Brick walls or concrete surfaces, finished even and fair complete all as specified and as directed.
7Material and labour for rough cast plaster on exterior walls in two layers, under layer not less than 10mm cement plaster (1:3) (1 cement: 3 coarse sand ) furrowing the under layer with scratching tool, and while it is still in plastic state the roughcast mixture consisting of crushed stone or fine gravel aggregate (which is generally of size between 6 to 12 mm depending on the texture required) mixed with coarse sand and cement in the ratio of (1: 1: 1) shall be applied and finished even. The mix of cement and sand shall be made slightly wetter than normal for rendering to ensure that larger aggregates are thoroughly covered, complete in all respects and as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
8Material and labour for preparation of new steel and iron surfaces of any description, not otherwise described, exceeding 10 cm in width or girth, including cleaning the surface free from dust, dirt, grease, oil and other foreign matter and surface imperfections by rubbing down with emery paper/sand paper or by other approved means to obtain a clean, smooth and even surface and further applying one coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer and two coats of first-quality synthetic enamel paint of approved brand, shade and tint, each coat applied by brush only after proper preparation and complete drying of the preceding coat, to produce a smooth, uniform, durable and aesthetically acceptable finish, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
9Material and labour for preparation of new surface of walls / Soffits of Chajjas / Roof Projections etc. by removing all loose dust/dirt using broom and applying two coats of premium quality water-based exterior emulsion paint based on 100% acrylic binder with silicone additives, having VOC content not exceeding 50 g/litre when tested in accordance with IS 101 (Part 2/Sec 2) and UV resistance conforming to IS 15489:2004 or latest revision, of approved brand and manufacture, in camouflage pattern using 4 to 5 approved colour shades as per pattern approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. The paint shall have a coverage capacity of approximately 6.5 to 7.5 square metres per litre for two coats and shall be applied over one coat of alkali-resistant water-based exterior primer of the same make having a coverage capacity of approximately 11 to 14 square metres per litre per coat, the paint shall be applied by brush, roller or airless spray gun as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge and in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations to achieve a uniform camouflage finish, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Brand and Make of primer for external : - Seal O Primer of Berger / Smart Care Primero of Asian / Excel Alkali Prime of Nerolac / Weather Shield Alkali Bloc of DuluxBrand and Make of exterior acrylic emulsion paint: - Apex Ultima of Asian / Weather Coat antidust of Berger / Weather shield Protect of Dulux / Excel Mica Marble of NerolacNotes : (i) A minimum interval of 4 to 6 hours, or such duration as recommended by the manufacturer, shall be maintained between successive coats to ensure proper drying, curing and adhesion of the paint system.(ii) The percentage, distribution, arrangement, sequence and configuration of the approved colour shades forming the camouflage pattern shall be finalized by the Engineer-in-Charge/Station Authority using 4 to 5 approved colour shades having RGB values within the range of 110 to 171, ensuring adequate colour variation and blending to achieve the desired camouflage effect.(iii) The approved camouflage pattern shall be maintained uniformly throughout the work. Any deviation from the approved pattern, colour shades or workmanship standards shall be rectified by the Contractor at his own cost and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
10Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floor and paving not exceeding 15cm thickness below or above ground level of any description and in any position and including disposal of rubbish material to any distance out side MOD land complete all as specified and as directed.
11Dismantling of interlocking tile/paver block/brick/chequered tile etc including kerb stone (laid flat or on edge etc) laid dry or pointed complete all as specified and as directed.
12Material and labour for 75 mm thick PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in plinth protection finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed
13Material and labour for PCC (1:2:4), type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in surface channels, benching/coping of manholes/drains, coping, mud stops, packing sides/around of interlocking tiles, kerbs, bed block, cills, thrust block, for embedded posts & similar work etc at ground and normal height including weatherings, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and including necessary form work as required etc. complete all as specified and as directed.
14Material and labour for 50mm thick cement concrete (1:2:4), Type-B-1 , using 20 mm graded stone aggregates as in floors, pavement, hardstanding and finishing the surface of concrete topping even and smooth (without using extra cement) complete all as specified and as directed.
15Material and labour for 75mm thick cement concrete ( 1:4:8), type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base complete all as specified and as directed.
16Material and labour for providing and laying chequered cement concrete tiles of size exceeding 0.04 sqm but not exceeding 0.11 sqm, 25mm thick, manufactured by the table vibratory method using PU/rubber moulds, made from cement, graded aggregates, with grey pigment cement and pigments, having approved pattern and texture, laid as in floors, footpaths, walkways and similar locations. The tiles shall be laid true to line, level and required slope, set and jointed in neat grey cement slurry at the rate of 3.00 kg per square metre, over the prepared bed/sub base (sub base bed measured and paid separately), filling joints with grey cement with pigment, complete in all respects, as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
17Supply and laying/fixing 60mm thick factory-made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block/ interlocking tile of M-35 grade, conforming to IS 15658:2021, pre-polished & pre-glazed, with approved colour/design/size/ shape made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern as in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., over and including 30mm thick compacted bed of fine sand and filling the joints with sand, compacting through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, finishing and sweeping extra sand complete all as specified and as directed.
18Dismantling of floor hearth or wall tilling including cement mortar bedding but not backing including removing rubbish material from building and thrown in low lying empty area at any distance as direccted from the site complete all as specified and as directed
19M&L for providing Non-skid tiles (approved shade), area of each tile exceeding 0.11 Sqm but not exceeding 0.18 Sqm (square/rectangular), as per IS 15622: 2017 and IS 13712: 2019, group B1b, having thickness not less than 7mm, premium quality having water absorption should be between 3% to 6%, straight edge/rectified, stain free, laid as in Flooring, set and jointed in Neat grey Cement Slurry and pointed in White/Coloured Cement, laid over and including 15mm thick Screed Bed in Cement Mortar (1:4), complete all as specified and as directed.
20M&L for providing glazed ceramic coloured tiles (any shade in any pattern of light & dark, with or without highlighters etc as approved), as per IS 15622: 2017 and IS 13712: 2019, group B IIa, having thickness not less than 7mm, Premium quality having water absorption should be between 3% to 6%, straight edge/rectified, stain free, size of tile 350x250mm/ 450x300mm or any size between area of each tile exceeding 0.06 Sqm and not exceeding 0.18Sqm thick as direcetd as in Vertical Surface/Dado etc., set and jointed in Neat grey Cement Slurry and pointed in White or Colour Cement to match the Tiles, laid over and including 10mm thick Screed Bed in Cement Mortar (1:4), complete all as specified and as directed.
21Dismantling of stone slab/tiling including cement mortar bedding ( but not backing) and including removing rubbish material from building and thrown in low lying empty area at any distance as direccted from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
22Material and labour 16-18mm thick Granite stone slab (thappi) in approved shade (like dark black, mahroom etc), machine cut, duly factory grinding and polishing (table rubbed and polished), as in steps, jams, pillars, window cill or similar locations where directed, set & jointed in and including neat cement slurry, laid over and including 15mm thick cement mortar (1:4) screed bed, and pointing in white cement mixing with pigment to match with shade of slab, including cutting, dressing, edge finishing, rounding of exposed edges where required, including cleaning and extra polishing if required complete all as specified and as directed.Note : (i) Single piece should be used in steps/jambs, equal to width.
23Taking down steel window/ventilator any type with frames and shutters including glass, wire cloth, mongery etc (without taking off shutters from the frames) area not exceeding 4Sqm each and removing from site including cutting holes for removal of old rusted hold fast and prepare the surface for new hold fast, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
24Supply and fixing factory-made steel windows/ventilators, box type, fabricated from ERW hollow steel 'P' sections with double-angle outer frame, comprising any provision such as side-hung or top-hung, single/double shutters, glazed shutters, fly-proof shutters, fixed glazed units, or with provision for installation of window air-conditioners or air coolers, as per the drawing/design given by the Engineer-in-Charge. The window/ventilator shall include M.S. security grill fabricated from 8mm square M.S. bars fixed horizontally at 100mm centre-to-centre and welded to the frame complete, 4mm thick ordinary quality sheet glass for windows (shutter and for fixed portion) and 4mm thick figured pin-head glass for ventilators, securely fixed with approved glazing beads/clips and suitable glazing compound/gaskets as recommended by the manufacturer to provide a weatherproof, dustproof, rattling-free and durable installation. The fly-proof shutters shall be fitted with Stainless Steel wire cloth (Grade 304, natural finish) having 0.63mm nominal wire diameter and 1.40mm average aperture width, securely fixed with approved retaining flats/beads and all necessary fixing arrangements, including all necessary fittings and hardware such as heavy-duty hinges, tower bolts, handles, peg stays, stay arms, stopper legs, holdfasts, fasteners, screws, welding, drilling, cutting, and all other steel members and accessories required for smooth, rigid and satisfactory operation. All steel surfaces shall be thoroughly cleaned and provided with one coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer followed by two coats of approved synthetic enamel paint of approved shade on all exposed surfaces before erection. Any damaged painted surfaces shall be properly touched up after installation to match the surrounding finish. The frame shall be fixed in position with approved holdfasts/anchor fasteners, including providing PCC 1:2:4 (Type B-1) for holdfasts where required, making good disturbed masonry, plaster and finishes in cement mortar (1:3) to match the existing work, complete with all materials, labour, scaffolding, tools and plant, consumables and incidental works, complete in all respects, as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Notes:(i) The weight of the complete window/ventilator assembly, including outer frame, shutters, M.S. grill, glazing bars, holdfasts, all steel sections, fittings, accessories, hardware, glazing beads and all integral steel components, glass and wire mesh, shall be physically determined in the presence of the Engineer-in-Charge before fixing or as directed. Payment shall be made on the basis of the actual weight so determined.(ii) Measurement for payment shall be made in Kilograms (kg) based on the actual weight of the complete fabricated steel window/ventilator assembly fixed in position, No separate payment shall be made for hardware, glass, wire mesh, welding, painting, fixing or any other incidental components required to complete the item.
25Dismantling of boarding of any description, including wooden, PVC, ACP, particle board, fibre board, pulp board, insulation board/slab/blanket or similar material, of any thickness, fixed in any position as in cupboards, cabinets, wardrobes, wooden flooring or similar work, including cover fillets, mouldings, beads, trims, screws, nails and other fixing accessories, taking down carefully without unnecessary damage, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
