| 1 | Arranging man power in two shifts one person per shift for providing day-to-day operation of water pump sets at BSNL Bhavan –Chuttugunta, Vijayawada as under : |
| 2 | (i) Operation of bore well pumps for filling of water sumps at staff quarters blocks/ BSNL Bhavan |
| 3 | (ii) Operation of Mono submersible pump sets for lifting of water from sumps to over head water tanks by controlling/regulating the valves at BSNL Bhavan / staff quarters. |
| 4 | (iii) Attending to day-to-day petty works in pump rooms & installations during pump operation like arresting leakages, keeping the pump room and installations in clean and healthy condition; check and arrest minor water leakages from pumps, suction and discharge pipe lines in pump room; minor electrical problems in starters,replacing capacitors etc., |
| 5 | (iv) Ensuring no over flow of water from under ground sumps/ over head tanks. |
| 6 | (v) Ensuring required quantity of water in overhead tanks by lifting from sumps/ bore wells in time and without complaints from the occupants of the quarters./ BSNL Bhavan |
| 7 | (vi) Intimating pump failures to the SDE(E)/JTO(E) promptly. |
| 8 | (vii) Attending to the pump operation works as per the timings/ schedules indicated by the SDE(E)/JTO(E). |
