| 21 | NOTES FOR SRL Items Nos 1 to 20 : The painting / periodical services work shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidders shall be deemed to include the same :-(a) The work pertaining to painting / periodical services shall be executed by the contractor through authorised applicator of Manufacturer of the materials like Exterior Emulsion paint, putty etc. after approval by the AGE(I). (b) The Contractor shall provide \\"Memoradum of Understanding\\" (MOU) with one of the manufacturers as mentioned in the contract for approval of AGE(I) before execution of work. (c) Use of Scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles, euipment & machines etc. necessary for execution of work and protective measures.(d) Removing of Nails, making good holes, cracks etc. and preparation of surfaces complete.(e) Work in patches and in narrow / widths, bands, cornices, pilasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary.(f) Spreading and removing covering to doors, windows, floors, fittings etc. to protect them from splashes.(g) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery , electric fittings , wirings etc. Drops and splashes of paint to be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.(h) Sample patch of 10Sqm shall be prepared considering all the items of periodical and shall be got approved from AGE (I) prior to carrying out further work.(j) The spray machine should be of reputed manufacturer with pro guard technology as directed. (k) Guarantee :- The contractor shall furnish the written guarantee in favour of AGE (I) for the effectiveness of the weather proof painting work for 5 years after certified date of complition. The contractor may obtain a similar guarantee from the specialist firm engaged / manufacturer by him for the purpose. (l) A standing Board of Officer shall be convened by AGE(I) to inspect paint buckets brought by the contractor in sealed condition and to make note of Barcodes / QRcodes. Prior to each RAR Board shall verify all empty containers alongwith Barcodes / QRcodes.
