| 2 | Replacement of Various pump like Circulation pumps, CS pit pumps, Pre Coat pit pumps, cooling water pump etc.Work involves: The required site arrangements shall be done for the replacement of various pumps in SA plant. The tools and tackles shall be arranged. Motor to be dismantled first after lossening the foundation bolts. Motor shall be lifted and kept in proper place. Pump shall be lifted after lossening and removing the bolts from discharge flange and from base plate of pump. Existing pump shall be transported to workshop for repair work as per engineer in charge. The new / spare pump shall be transported to site. Pump base plate shall be cleaned and pump shall be positioned properly. Insert and tightened the base plate bolts and discharge flange bolts after putting new gasket. Rigging assistance shall be provided for the alignment and spider fixing work. Once the pump fixed properly, then position the motor and tightened the foundation bolts. |
| 3 | Replacement of various Gear boxes like Conveyor S1, S2, mixing pit, melting pit, peacoat pit, CT fan etc. Work involves: The required site arrangements shall be done for the replacement of various gearboxes in SA plant. The tools and tackles shall be arranged. Foundation bolts of the existing gear box shall beloosened / removed and transported to mechanical work shop. The new / spare gear box shall be transported to site. The gear box shall be kept in position and insert the foundation bolts, after cleaning the base plate. Rigging assistance shall be provided for the alignment of gear box. All foundation bolts to be checked and tightened after alignement work. |
| 4 | Replacement of Gear box of CT fan no.1,2 and 3.Work involves: The required site arrangements shall be done for the replacement of all three CT fan gearboxes in SA plant. The tools and tackles shall be arranged. Foundation bolts of the existing gear box shall be loosened / removed. Gear box shall be lifted along with hub and leafs and kept in safe area for gearbox replacement work. Existing gear box need to be transported to mechanical work shop after completing the replacement work. The new / spare gear box shall be transported to site from store. After completing hub and leafs assembly by department then whole set to be lifted and positioned at its location. The gear box shall be kept in position and insert the foundation bolts, after cleaning the base plate. Rigging assistance shall be provided for the hub assembly and alignment of gear box. All foundation bolts to be checked and tightened after alignement work. |
| 5 | Replacement of various motors of all pumps, conveyors gearbox, agitators etc. Work involves: The required site arrangements shall be done for the replacement of motor of various equipment like all pumps including cooling water pumps, agitators, S1 & S2 conveyors etc. The tools and tackles shall be arranged. Foundation bolts of the existing motor shall be loosened / removed and transported to electrical work shop. The new / spare motor shall be transported to site from electrical workshop. The motor shall be kept in position and insert the foundation bolts, after cleaning the base plate. Rigging assistance shall be provided for the alignment of motor. |
| 6 | Replacement of various agitators of sulphur melting area.Work involves: The required site arrangements shall be done for the replacement of various agitators of melting pit, mixing pit and precoat pit. The tools and tackles shall be arranged. After getting clearance motor and gearbox shall be dismantled. Foundation bolts of the existing agitators shall be loosened / removed and transported to department workshop. The new / spare agitator shall be transported to site from department workshop. The agitator shall be kept in position and insert the foundation bolts, after cleaning the base plate. Gearbox and motor shall be erected back and assistance for alignment shall be provided.
