| 1 | Providing and applying Two or more coats of Premium Exterior grade acrylic smooth exterior paint with Silicon additives of Asian Paints (Apex Ultima) / Berger paints (Weathercoat Longlife Flexo)applied @ not less than 1.43 ltr/10 sqm or as per the manufacturer specifications with approved shade over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 ltr/ 10 sqm or as per the manufacturer specifications on old external plastered / Concrete/ stone cladding surfaces etc including applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour including preparing the surface by removal of loose old paint, black spots, algae mats etc by thoroughly scrapping the entire surface using wire brush & other suitable tools and tackles, sand papering, preparing the surface even and smooth, washing the entire surface with water to attain a clean surface, filling of holes, cracks & crevices by providing crack filling compound of Birla/JK or equivalant wherever required as per the manufacturer's specifications at all heights and locations up by providing & erecting required scaffolding for complete work & removing splashing and dropping from all locations complete as per the specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note: Contractor is requested to Visit the site and get aquinted to the scope of work including surface, texture, conditions etc., measurement shall be strictly paid based on measured unit area only, no coefficient or equivalant area shall be calculated for payment. Rates shall be quoted considering this also. |
| 2 | Distempering two or more coats of 1st quality acrylic washable distemper of Asian paints / Berger brand of required shade and colour over and including water thinnable with cement primer including applying additional coats wherever required at all height to achieve even shade and colour, including prepartion of surface by sand papering for removing loose scales, fungus, water marks, depressions, providing and erecting scaffolding, filling the unever surfaces, nail holes with J K or eqivailant make wall putty, making the surface smooth and even etc. complete as per manufacturer’s specification, cleaning of distemper splashings and droppings from all places etc. complete and as directred by the Engineer. |
| 3 | Dismantling old plaster of any finish and thickness including raking out joints and cleaning the surface with hard brush for plaster from external walls/ceiling at all heights & at all locations etc., manually/ by mechanical means including widening of the crack if any in a “V” or “U” groove shape using grinder, removal of all dust, filling the cracks by providing Single part, non-shrink, cementitious, crack sealer compound of Fosroc Renderoc CS/CF as per site requirement complete as per manufacturer specifications and as directed by EIC including disposal of unserviceable materials/rubbish to the dumping area with all lead & lift as directed by EIC including providing all labour, tools, tackles, machinary and scaffolding etc. complete as per the specifications and as directed by the EIC. |
| 4 | Providing, mixing and applying SBR Polymer (@ 10% of the cement weight) modified cementitious bond coat @ 2.2 kg cement per sqm of surface area mixed with specified proportion of approved polymer by chipping the portion of Plaster/RCC at all level complete as per the manufacturer specifications and as directed by EIC. |
| 5 | Providing & fixing 22 gauge Chicken wire mesh at between junctions of column/beam and walls, 150-300 mm wide (as directed by EIC) fixed with U nails @ 150 mm centre to centre before plastering the junction, including cutting to the shape, providing U nails, fixing in position at all height & location, required scaffolding etc. complete as per the specifications and as directed by EIC. |
| 6 | Providing, mixing and applying Modified Cement mortar of average 12mm thickness in proportion of 1:4 (1 cement: 4 graded coarse sand with SBR polymer of Dr. fixit/Fosroc/Sika make mixed in specified proportion at all level & surface complete as per the manufacturer specifications and as directed by EIC.Note: 1. Measurement and payment: Any variation in thickness above than 12 mm will be paid by converting volume into equivalent surface area. The pre-measurement of thickness shall be done just after the surface preparation is completed and Payment under this item shall be made only after proper wet curing has been done and surface has been satisfactorily evaluated by sounding / tapping with a blunt metal instrument).2. Cement mortar of average thickness more than 12 mm shall be carried out in successive layers and nothing extra will be paid on this account. |
| 7 | Removal of old white wash/colour wash by thoroughly scrapping using wire brush & other suitable tools and tackles, sand papering the entire wall surface completely exposing the bare wall, cleaning with fibre broom and washing entire surface with water, preparing the surface even and smooth at all height including necessary necessary scaffolding etc. complete as per the specifications and as directed by the Engineer. |
