Tender for Fabrication And Supply Of Street Light Poles To Lakshadweep Electricity Department , 1) Supplying 6200 Mm Overall Height Street Light Pole, Fabricated From Medium Class (B Class) Galvanized Steel (G.I.) Pipes Conforming To Is 1239 (Part 1), As Amended Up To Date, Comprising The Following Sections: . A)110 Mm B Class G.I.Pipe (4 Inch) 3000 Mm B)80 Mm B Class G.I.Pipe (3 Inch) 1400 Mm C)50 Mm B Class G.I.Pipe (2 Inch) 1400 Mm D)40 Mm B Class G.I.Pipe (11/2 Inch) 700 Mm The Different Pipe Sections Shall Be Properly Joined And Welded To Form A Rigid And Structurally Sound Pole. All Welded Joints Shall Be Smoothly Finished And Properly Shaped, And The Areas Affected By Welding Shall Be Provided With Zinc-Rich/Spray Galvanizing Treatment To Restore The Corrosion Protection Of The Galvanized Surface. The Complete Pole Shall Be Fabricated In Accordance With The Drawing Attached As Annexure-D And Shall Be Complete In All Respects. 2). G.I.Plate Of Size 250 X 250 X 8 Mm Welded At The Bottom With One Coat Metal Primer One Coat Aluminum Paint Having 25 Mm Hole At The Center. 3). Top Of The 40 Mm Pipe Shall Be Inclined 30 Degree At A Length Of 300Mm. 4). Two Ms Ring Suitable Thickness Shall Be Welded At The Portion Going Inside The Pipe To Get Firm Grip On The Outer Pipe. 5).For Cable Entry A Hole 25 Mm Dia Shall Be Provided Up To The Length Of 1500 Mm From Bottom Side. 6). 25 X 6 Mm Gi Flat With 8Mm Hole For Fixing Smc Box Shall Be Provided At A Height Of 2500 Mm From The Bottom Plate.
