Supply Of supply of high silica locomotive sand. , high silica locomotive sand (90% minimum), free from clay, salt, loams, mica and other foreign mat erials conforming to aar spec. no. m-916-51(revised 1994) duly cleaned, sieved, dried and packed in 10 kg capacit y good quality, non- tearable during standard handling, polythene bags, inspection, testing and acceptance. (1) lo ading sand from firms premises and unloading at loco shed/onr should be done by the firm.(2) rate quoted should be inclusive of loading and unloading charges. (3) transportation conditions should be mentioned by the firm clearl y in the bid. if the firm is ready for transporting the material to loco shed/onr, transportation charges also to be sh own in the bid. (4) one sand sample (at least 1 kg) with lab test certificate and one empty sample sand bag as per required specification to be submitted to consignee along with the submission of bid for technical scrutiny.
