| 1 | Shutting off the main suction valves located both outside and inside the premises, and closing the sluice valves of the pump set after taking the necessary shutdown, wherever required. The work shall include deployment of all necessary safety measures, tools, tackles and equipment for safe and proper operation/closure of the valves, as per site requirements and the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 2 | Tracing and locating the source of leakage by excavating the area where the underground pipeline is laid, including manual excavation, breaking of CC flooring and/or wall wherever required, particularly at the point where the common header emerges from the pump area, as per site requirements. The work shall be carried out with all necessary safety precautions and measures. |
| 3 | Safety arrangement like Air Face Mask, Helmet, Gum Boots, Hand Gloves, Safety Belts, First Aid Box, Litmus Paper, etc. arranged by the firm for safe working of men and machinery at site. All precautions are to be taken to save men and material. |
| 4 | Dismantling of existing damaged 300 mm dia. Common header line and allied accessories from the pump set with the help of heavy manual labour and electric welding set and gas cutter using proper logistics arrangements i.e. special tripod for holding the dismantled pipe and other accessories. |
| 5 | Supply of 300 mm dia. M.S. pipe having thickness 8 mm duly painted with black bituminous anticorrosive paint. Make - TATA/ Jindal/ ISI/ Any other DJB Approved |
| 6 | Supply of 300mm dia. M.S Bend of 90 degree as per site requirement duly painted with black bituminous anticorrosive paint. Make - TATA/ Jindal/ ISI/ Any other DJB Approved |
| 7 | Supply of 12mm thick M.S flange for 300 mm dia. M.S pipe. |
| 8 | S/o Rubber insertion 75 % Neoprene (1.5 mm to 25 mm) jointing sheet conforming IS 638/79 with ISI mark 1.5 mm thick Make:- Jyoti or any other make approved by DJB |
| 9 | Supply of M.S Nut bolts washer as per site requirement. |
| 10 | Replacement of line by welding the flanges at both ends of the M.S pipe of 300 mm dia by cutting , welding, grinding etc. and fixing the same in proper alignment along with the existing holding arrangement with the help of heavy manual labor, nut/ bolts etc. complete in all respect as per site requirement |
| 11 | Civil work required for restoration of damaged potion by filling concrete and cement work complete and levelling as per site requirement with the help of mason. |
| 12 | Transportation of men and material complete arranged at site of work. The work also include operations of valve closing & opening the same etc. |
