1Earth work by mechinical / manual means in rough excavation, banking excavated earth in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, breaking clods, watering, rolling each layer with 'A tonne roller or wooden or steel rammers, and rolling every 3rd and top-most layer with power roller of minimum 8 tonnes and dressing up in embankments for roads, flood banks, marginal banks and guide banks or filling up ground depressions, lead upto 50 m and for all lift. 2Carriage of earth by mechanical transport including loading, unloading and stacking, lead up to 3 km (complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge) (DSR-1.1)
3Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50m outside the periphery of the area cleared. (DSR-2.31)
4Preparation and consolidation of sub grade with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity after excavating earth to an average of 22.5 cm depth, dressing to camber and consolidating with road roller including making good the undulations etc. and re- olling the sub grade and disposal of surplus earthwith lead upto 50 metres. 5Extra for compaction of earth work in embankment under optimum moisture conditions to give at least 95% of the maximum dry density (proctor density). (DSR-16.2)

7Providing and laying spreading and compactive grade stone aggregate to WMM specification Incluid premixing the material with at OMC in mechanical mix plant close grade mixing in mechanical mix plant at OMC carriage of mixed material by tipper to site laying in uniform layers with paver in sub base /base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibrating roller to achive the desired density 406 of MORT &H specification and as per direction of the engineer-in charge (A.R)
8Providing and applying tack coat with 80/100 (VG10) bitumen on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning the road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 kg/sqm using mechanical means including supply of all materials labour T&P etc required for proper comletion of the work as per clause 503 of MORT&H specifications and as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge (A.R.)
9Providing and applying tack coat with 80/100 (VG10) 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared bitumeneous / granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom including supply of all materials labour T&P etc required for proper completion of the work as per clause 503 of MORT&H specification and as per dierction of the Engineer in charge (A.R.)
10Providing and laying 50mm th compacted bitumenous mecadam on prepared surface with 100-120 tonnes per hour batch type Hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 MT per hour using crushed agregated of specified grading-II(19mmNominal Size) premixed with 80/100 (VG10) bitumenous binder @ 3.30% by weight of total mix transporting the hot mix material to work site laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade level and alignment rolling with smooth wheeled grade level and alignment rolling with smooth wheeled vibratory (8-10 tonnes) roller for initial brake down rolling finish rolling by smooth wheeled tondom roller (8-10 tonnes) to achieve the desired compaction including supply of all materials labour T&P etc required for proper completion of the work as per clause 504 of MORT & H specification sand as per direction of the Engineer in charge (A.R.)
11Providing and laying compacted semi dense bitumenous concrete with 100-120 tonnes per hour batch type Hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 MT per hour using crushed agregated of specifled grading-I premixed with 60 70 (VG30) bitumenous binder @ 4.50% by weight of total mix and filler @ 2% by weight of total mix transporting the hot mix material to work site laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade level and alignment rolling with smooth wheeled vibratory (8-10 tonnes) roller for initial brake down rolling finish rolling by smooth wheeled tondom roller (8-10 tonnes) to achieve the desired compaction including supply of all materials labour T&P etc required for proper completion of the work as per clause 508 Grade-l(13 mm nominal size) of MORT & H specification sand as per direction of the Engineer in charge (AR).
12Providing and applying 2.5 mm thick road marking strips (retro-reflective) of specified shade/ colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/ semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T&P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and accordance with applicable specifications. (DSR-16.62)
13Providing and fixing Glow studs of size 100x20 mm made of heavy duty body shall be moulded ASA (Acrylic styrene Acryloretrite ) or HIP (High impact polystyrene) or ABS having electronically welded micro- prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating as approved by Engineer in charge. The glow stud shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The slope of retro- reflective surface shall be 35 (+/- 5) degress to base .The reflective panels on both sides with at least 12 cm of reflective area up each side. The luminance intensity should be as per the specification and shall be tested as described in ASTM I: 809 as recommended in BS: 873 part 4 : 1973. The studs shall be fixed to the Road surface using the adhesive conforming to IS, as per procedure recommended by the manufacturer complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (DSR-16.50)
14Providing and fixing post delineators made of ABS round body fitted with 2 nos 100 mm dia high reflective reflectors and mounted on MS pipe of 65 mm dia duly powder coated anti-rust and anti theft steel to be installed as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (DSR-16.65)
15Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade All work up to plinth level : 1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources). (DSR-4.1.8)

17Applying stamping finish to the top surface of freshly laid lain/reinforcedcement concrete of specified grade in porticos, sidewalks, driveways,pool decks and open yards as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.The process shall include the following:- • The concrete shall be placed and screeded to the finished grade, and floated to a uniform surface by using standard finishing techniques. The approved color hardener @ 2.7 kg/sqm shall be applied evenly to the surface of the fresh concrete by the dry shake method by sprinkling in two or more shakes, floated after each shake and trowelled only after the final floating. The approved release agent @ 0.113 kg/sqm shall be applied evenly to the trowelled surface before stamping or the said release agent can be applied to the flexible polyurethane stamp moulds of approved design and in required sizes to achieve final stamped pattern. These stampings shall be placed on the surface of concrete in three to four pieces at a time and tapped gently with rammers of sufficient size & weight to leave proper stamp marks and the process repeated for the remaining concrete surface till the whole surface to be stamped is completed within the time while concrete is in plastic stage of setting. • After stamping, the curing shall be done as per manufactures specifications. After initial curing the imprinted joints shall be grouted using cement slurry mixed with color hardener as per the requirement. The surface shall be sealed by applying acrylic based sealer not less than 0.167 litre/sqm.on finished surface. • The construction joints shall be provided by groove cutting of size 4 mm x 20 mm in panel size 3m x 3 m or lesser as per the site conditions and filling the same with 10 mm baker rod and providing and laying (PU) Polyurethane based joint sealer of approved make as per manufacturer’s specifications and finished by applying Polyurethane resin based top protective clear coat of minimum 80 micron applied with rollers on properly cured and dry clean surface. (Cost of concrete for flooring is not included in this item which shall be paid separately.)(DSR-26.83)
18Providing, laying and making kerb channel 30 cm wide and 50 mm thick with cement concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand:6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) over 75mm bed of dry brick ballast 40 mm nominal size, well rammed and consolidated and grouted with fine sand, including finishing the top smooth etc. complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (DSR-16.63)
19Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in foundation and plinth in: Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand) (DSR-6.1.2)
20Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete etc. as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (length of finished kerb edging shall be measured for payment). 21Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required. In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works. (DSR-10.25.2)
